Chapter 80
“It doesn’t have to get this ugly…” Veronica mumbled awkwardly, her voice noticeably lacking confidence.
Her father rolled his eyes and scolded, “If we don’t get to the bottom of this today, your reputation will be completely destroyed!“&
Seeing her parents stand firm, Veronica didn’t dare speak further. She turned to Dariel for support.
He gave her a subtle shake of the head, signaling her not to panic.
This time, the entire courtroom had learned their lesson. No one dared to make wild assumptions.
Everyone quietly waited for the final verdict.
Another ten minutes passed, and the forensic analysis results came in.
The video evidence I submitted was 100% authentic.
The courtroom fell into stunned silence.
“Wait a minute… if both sides have real evidence, how could Dariel be in two places at once?”
“Exactly. Unless he can clone himself, this doesn’t make any sense!”
Even the judge furrowed his brow, poring over the documents again and again, searching for a clue–but found nothing.” Dariel suddenly spoke up, “It must be a mistake in the forensics. There’s no way I could be in two places at once. That just proves Veronica is innocent.“}

He tried to twist logic to escape again.”
But the judge wasn’t easily fooled. He didn’t rush to a conclusion and instead turned to me, asking, evidence?”
“I do,” I nodded.
Stella stepped forward with new documents and looked directly at Dariel.
“One person can’t be in two places at once–but what if we’re talking about identical twins?”
Those words instantly woke up the entire courtroom.
If Dariel had a twin brother, everything would make perfect sense.

“I’m an only child!” Dariel barked a laugh. “You can check with the authorities. I don’t have any siblings.“” “That’s right!” Veronica chimed in. “Dariel has no brothers. Miguel, what kind of tricks are you playing now?” Even Franco added, “I’ve met Dariel’s whole family. I’ve never heard of any younger brother.”

But his expression was already shifting. As a seasoned businessman, he could sense something wasn’t right.” If I truly had no case, why would I push this far?”
Meanwhile, Veronica was clearly growing nervous.
But that doubt in Franco’s eyes vanished just as quickly as it came.
Stella calmly presented the findings to the judge.}
“We’ve discovered that Dariel does, in fact, have an identical twin brother–Èzequiel Thompson. He lived abroad for most of his life and returned to the country two years ago. Dariel’s domestic records, including family status, have all been falsified.” “That’s nonsense!” Dariel roared. “What proof do you have?!”
The next second, the courtroom screen lit up with dozens of photos–showing Dariel and his twin brother side by side from childhood to adulthood.
The final image was a DNA test report confirming their relationship.
Franco’s eyelids twitched violently. His heart thudded uneasily in his chest.
Everyone else stared at Dariel, chilled to the bone.
“Damn… if this is real, that’s terrifying.“”
“Twin brothers taking turns to deceive everyone? If that happened to me, I’d be dead ten times over.“”
To be honest, even I felt a wave of fear looking back now.”
They’d planned this for so long. It was terrifying how well they had hidden it.
Dariel, still trying to deny it, shouted, “This is all fake! None of it can be trusted!“}
“If I really had a brother, why didn’t you bring him here?”
But before he could finish his sentence, a court officer whispered something into the judge’s ear.”
The judge’s eyes lit up.
“The police have just provided new evidence for this case. Everyone, please watch the live video feed.”

“The police have just provided new evidence for this case. Everyone, please watch the live video feed.”
The screen switched to a police interrogation room.
A man was being questioned.
“Name?“”
“Ezequiel Thompson.”
“How many people in your family?”
“Just one brother–Dariel Thompson. He’s currently working as an assistant to Veronica at Campbell Corporation\” The truth was out.
Dariel’s face was drained of color. He staggered back several steps, eyes wide, whispering in disbelief.
“Useless fool! You’re always so good at hiding. How could you get caught this time?”
