Hunter’s eyes locked onto me.
Running now would be super sus.
I stood my ground.
Thank God I was wearing a mask.
Hunter frowned. “You go to this school?”
I nodded.
He took a step toward me. “What’s your name?”
“Si-”
That was as far as I got.
Wendy Silverton grabbed Hunter’s arm. “Let’s
go, it’s freezing back here.”
She pulled him away.
By the time he turned back, trying to catch up

I overheard their conversation:
“Don’t worry about it. Someone named Sierra
isn’t her.”
“Her eyes are similar.”
“Even if it was her, so what? She conned you
out of a ton of money…”
My head fell, trembling slightly.
