Chapter 9
Joe looked at the courier and his hand trembled. He still remembered the shock of the last courier. Joe took the document and touched it through the document bag. He signed it after finding a small notebook inside.
“This must be sent to me by Lily. I knew she couldn’t let me go.” Joe muttered to himself as he tore open the document.
When he saw the three bright red words “Divorce Certificate” on the red book inside, he froze in his place like a thunderbolt.
“How could this happen?” Joe took out the divorce agreement with trembling hands and then sat down on the ground, like a withered grass without support.
Joe ran frantically downstairs of the company and then found that the word “Brown” hanging high in the company’s name had been replaced by “Biden” at some point
“Isn’t this our high–ranking President Brown? Why is he like a dead dog now!”
Suddenly a familiar voice sounded and Joe turned around and saw Zack leaning against a Ferrari with one hand around Lindsay.
“Lindsay?” Joe looked at Lindsay in disbelief. Lindsay hugged Zack’s waist and leaned against his chest charmingly.
“Don’t call me that, my Zack will be jealous.”
Joe was so angry that he trembled all over when he saw the intimacy between the two.
“How can you do this to me? Lindsay, I lost everything for you, even Lily has abandoned me now, how can you do this to me?”
Lindsay looked at him with disdain. “You are a pauper now, how can you still be worthy of
me?”
“Lindsay, you bitch, if you hadn’t instigated me, I wouldn’t have made such a big mistake with Lily, it’s all your fault.” Joe rushed up and was kicked to the ground by Zack before his hand touched Lindsay.
“A useless man who still wants to touch me?”
Zack stepped hard on Joe’s hand again and then kicked him in the face. Joe’s two front teeth were kicked out in an instant and his mouth was full of blood and the blood kept flowing.
Zack had been brooding over the last time Joe beat him and he had been stepped on by Joe for so many years, so he had long wanted to teach Joe a lesson.
“How dare you hit me?” Joe covered his mouth, his face full of anger but unable to fight back.
Zack stepped on Joe’s hand again, crushing it hard. “I’ll beat you if I want to. Do I have to choose a day?”
“Do you think you are still the high and mighty president of Brown? Lily has sold your company to me at a low price. Now I am the owner of this company and even your

previous woman is mine.”
Zack looked at Joe provocatively and then spit on his head.
“I won’t let you go.” Joe clenched his hands tightly and looked at them viciously.
Lindsay slowly squatted in front of Joe, looking at him with contempt. “Joe, I advise you to save your energy! You are a drowning dog now. No matter who passes by, they can step on you. What can you use to fight us?”
Blood kept pouring out of Joe’s mouth and Joe stared at Lindsay. “So this is your true face.”
Lindsay smiled and patted his face.
“People go up, water flows down, isn’t this human nature? If you are still the high and mighty Mr. Brown, I promise you that I will stay by your side and let you play with me.” After saying that, Lindsay took Zack’s hand, then stood on tiptoe and kissed Zack on the face.
“Let’s go, don’t we still have business to do?”
