Chapter 15
She was instantly furious. “Gregory, what kind of person do you think I am?”
Her fair, delicate face flushed red with anger, her cheeks puffing as she glared at him, widening her bright eyes.
A faint trace of amusement flashed across Gregory’s piercing eyes.
Honestly?
He enjoyed that night.
In fact, scenes from that night kept coming back to him over the past few days. Under the great pain, she had dug her nails into his back, leaving bloody trails, and even bitten his arm a few times.
But throughout the entire time, she had shown no signs of resistance at all. Instead, she had been trying to keep up with him.
The most surprising part was–it was her first time.
“Don’t get me wrong. I just wanna make it up to you,” he said.
“No need,” she huffed while getting out of the car.
Then she marched around to his side and yanked the door open. “Get out. And call your driver to pick you up.”
Arching an eyebrow slightly, he looked at her in surprise.
She was the first one who dared to speak to him like this.

He remained motionless.
Seeing this, she was even more pissed off. Out of anger, she grabbed his arm, trying to pull him out. “Get out!”
He stepped out of the car and looked down at her.
“Are you mad?” He parted his lips.
He was so tall–her head barely reached his chest.
She had no choice but to look up:
Glaring at him, she said, “Gregory, I told you already. What happens that night stays that night. You don’t have to make it up to me. Let’s just forget about it. OK?”
With that, she stormed back into the car, started the engine, and drove
away.
Gregory was lost in thought as he gazed at her car disappearing into the distance.
To him, she had always been a little girl
Like everyone else, he had thought she was obsessed with Timothy.
The thought that they’d one day share a bed had never once crossed his mind.

She walked to the parking
Before she could get into the car, a figure lunged at her and pressed her against the door tightly.
She screamed, figuring it was a robber.
Timothy immediately covered her mouth and said coldly, “It’s me.”
After seeing his face clearly, she was furious.
Pushing him away hard, she spat, “Timothy, what do you want?”
The look on Timothy’s face was fiercer than ever, as if a rival had trespassed on his territory. “I should be asking you this. What’s going on between you and Gregory? What was he doing in your car?”
“Does that have anything to do with you?” she retorted.
“What do you think? You’re my fiancee! You’re not allowed to talk to any man without my permission.”
Furious, Timothy pinned her arms against the car, rendering her immobilized.
She struggled to break free but to no avail.
He stood 1.85 meters tall. Besides, he was a student–athlete back in school and loved boxing.
Physically restraining her was easy–peasy for him.
She said, “Timothy, the engagement is off the table. I’m not your fiancee anymore.”
He sneered, “In case you haven’t noticed–I never said yes to that.”

His words enraged her. “Timothy, what the heck do you want?”
Exhaling, he looked down at her, his gaze faintly patronizing, “Charlotte, I’ll give you one last chance. Apologize to me now, and I’ll forgive you and let this slide. The wedding will still be on.
“On one condition, though. You have to cover Jocie’s tuition and living expenses for her last semester in Scuania.”
She couldn’t help but let out a cold sneer. Even the sight of his face sickened her. “You’re unbelievably ridiculous, Timothy. Exactly how delusional could you be?
“Let go of me, or I’ll scream. Someone…”
Suddenly, he covered her mouth, pulled open the door, and shoved her into the back seat forcibly, a cold glint flashing in his
eyes.
She panicked. “Timothy! What are you doing? Let go…”
