Charlotte couldn’t help but burst out laughing. “What the heck is wrong with you, Timothy? Why would I listen to a word you say? Why would I buy a car for her?
“Do I owe you? Or her?”
Timothy parted his lips but didn’t know what to say.

Charlotte sneered, “Another thing–we’re no longer engaged. My family has already returned your family’s engagement gifts. You should give back ours, too.
“Tell your family you have two days. If we don’t see our gifts by then, well, I’ll see you in court.”
Timothy frowned, veins pulsing at his temples in rage.
Compared to the engagement gifts from the Lindsey family, what his family offered was simply rubbish.

Timothy could barely hold back his anger. “Charlotte, my patience is limited. I’m offering you a way out. Learn to appreciate my kindness. Or you’ll regret it later…”
Charlotte smiled even more coldly.
She knew he didn’t want to return her family’s gifts. After all, he hadn’t made it to one of the richest men in Freyburn.

After saying this, she hurried out to Kieran’s study.
