“But what about my tuition and living expenses?”
Charlotte’s tone was utterly indifferent. “Figure out something yourself. Apply for student loans, perhaps. Or you can always turn to Timothy for help.”
Jocelynn parted her lips but didn’t know what to say.
Timothy was part of the Bradford family, but he didn’t have much spare cash on hand.
Just one semester’s tuition in Scuania cost around 75 thousand dollars, not to mention living expenses. With annual expenses reaching 150 thousand dollars, there was no way Timothy could afford that.

Charlotte sneered before seriously saying, “Who said you could call me Lottie? Know your place and address me as Ms. Lindsey. Oh, and you don’t work for us anymore. You’re fired.”
Claire paled and blurted out, “What?”
Charlotte said word by word, the look on her face suggesting she wasn’t joking at all, “You are fired. Move out tomorrow.”

Both Claire and Jocelynn were utterly flustered, thinking they’d misheard.
Over the years, the Lindsey family had been so nice to them, giving them an illusion that they were part of the family.
“I’m your employer, and I’m entitled to fire you. Simple as that.
