“I didn’t frame her… maybe my legs just gave out and that’s why I fell.” Bella gave a weak, half–hearted explanation.”
But no one seemed convinced.
Brandon hurried to defend her. “Bella had a leg injury before–it’s normal for her to be unsteady.“}
That excuse barely managed to calm the crowd, though skepticism lingered in many faces.”
The judge resumed, “There are no such things as ghosts. Let’s not give in to superstition. I believe the real truth lies in the third folder.“\
Clearly, the judge had seen through it all- he could tell I came fully prepared. Without further delay, he signaled the court clerk to open the third folder.
Inside were several dozen photos, along with one video.\
The timestamp showed the footage was from just yesterday.
In the video, Brandon was seen carrying the stuffed teddy bear into the living room. Then, the teddy bear slowly began removing its costume.
At that moment, the entire courtroom held its breath, everyone’s eyes glued to the screen.
Sure enough, hidden beneath the teddy bear costume was a woman.
And the moment she turned around and revealed her face–everyone in the courtroom simultaneously turned their eyes toward Bella.

“Hiding inside a stuffed bear to have an affair… is that even something a human being would do? So disgusting!” The courtroom exploded in outrage.<
Even the judge frowned, clearly disgusted by such shameless behavior.
Brandon and Bella exchanged glances, cold sweat breaking out all over them–they were trembling, barely able to stand.
Edward was shaking with rage. He slapped Brandon hard across the face and shouted, “You… you’ve completely disgraced me! You brought shame to our family! Is this how I raised you?“!
“You always acted so honest and upright. How did you turn into this? Cheating, sneaking around…Do you think this is fair to Claire? Fair to us?“”
Margaret burst into tears, overwhelmed with anger and sorrow.
Their eyes were filled with bitter disappointment. They had never imagined that their always obedient, filial son was actually
so shameless behind their backs.
The judge turned to look at Brandon and asked coldly, “Do you have anything else to say?”
“I…” Brandon’s eyes were red, fists clenched tight. “This is all fake! She fabricated that video–it can’t be trusted!“&
“Yes! it’s all fake!” Bella swallowed nervously but managed to regain some composure. “Yesterday, I went out to discuss a business deal–there are witnesses! How could I have been at Brandon’s house? Something’s definitely fishy here!”
I narrowed my eyes, thinking to myself. These two were really good at lying. Even at this point, they still refused to admit it.” “Is that true?” Edward suddenly perked up.”
“Yes!” Bella nodded vigorously and said to the judge, “I can provide the client’s contact number–just call and confirm.” Ethan added smoothly, “Since they claim the footage is fake, then I request a forensic analysis.“\
Both requests were approved by the judge.
Not long after, the court staff returned with the verification and said, “Yesterday, Bella was indeed meeting a client. There are witnesses and video evidence to prove it.””
Hearing this, Bella let out a long sigh of relief. She narrowed her eyes and said to me smugly, “Claire, your plan has completely failed.“%
A confident smirk tugged at the corner of her lips.
“Oh, really?” I smiled calmly.!!
“Claire, stop faking things here. If you still have any conscience, apologize and give up everything- otherwise, don’t even think about seeing your son again.” Brandon chimed in aggressively.
“The forensic results aren’t out yet.”
