Chapter 7
Some people still didn’t realize the gravity of
the situation.
Ethan, listening to Chloe, nodded.
“Yeah, Dad, I’m your only heir! Why are you
angry over a bitch?”
“She offended Chloe. Give her to Chloe. I’ll
find you more.”
He thought this would stop his punishment.
My dad’s bodyguards tackled him.
My dad punched Ethan, knocking out two
teeth.
Amidst Ethan’s screams, my dad said coldly
“Heir? Maybe before, but not anymore.”
“If it weren’t for Lily, you wouldn’t be the
heir.”
My dad looked around the room.
“You dared to harm my daughter; think about
the consequences.”
The nurses carried me onto a stretcher. I
pointed to the unconscious Sam.
My dad had him taken for treatment.
He stayed by my side, locking down the ward.
No one could leave until I woke up.
My dad took Sam and me, leaving chaos
behind.
I don’t know how long I slept, but I woke up in
the Riley villa.
My dad and Sam were by my bed.
I tried to say good morning but winced in
pain.
Sam gently held my hand.
“Don’t talk. Your wounds aren’t healed yet.
く
He gave me a pen and paper.
My dad was worried, his eyes showing
concern and rage.
He patted my head, full of guilt.
“I’m sorry, Lily, I didn’t protect you well
enough.”
Seeing my wounds, he almost cried.
“Don’t worry, they’ll pay. I’ll make them pay.”
I nodded and wrote,
[It’s okay, I don’t blame you, Dad.]
I hated Chloe and those who hurt me.
I wrote,
[Where are Chloe and the others?]
My dad refused.
“Your wounds are too bad. Wait until you’re
better.”
I nodded under his worried gaze.
When I was better, my dad took me to where
Chloe and the others were held.
Sam came with me.
^
Sam came with me.
Before opening the door, I heard screams.
I entered to see Chloe, Ethan, and Lee.
Their limbs were full of puncture wounds, just
like the ones Chloe inflicted on me. They
were covered in scars.
Seeing me, they were agitated.
Chloe glared, her eyes full of hatred.
“Lily Miller, what’s going on?!”
