I placed a hand on his arm. “Your Highness, I can lift the poison from your veins.”
He stared at me, his wolf – yellow eyes widening.
“Don’t offer false hope. Every healer in the pack has failed.”
I retrieved a vial of glowing liquid from my pocket. “Three doses, and you’ll be free.”

Without hesitation, he downed the potion.
“I trust you,”
Hours later, his servant arrived with a hundred crates of moon – silver and rare
herbs.

Bellona’s snarl echoed through the compound.
“Think you’re so special? Once you’re married to that dying mutt, your days are numbered!”
“Funny how your Alpha heir couldn’t spare half as much for his precious Luna – to – be.”
Before Bellona could retort, Alex’s carriage thundered in, the horses‘ hooves kicking up sparks on the cobblestones. “Not everyone grovels for shiny trinkets like you, Amelia,” he spat
“Bellona’s divination saved the southern packs from the flood. The Alpha praised her wisdom while you play with your cheap tricks.”

In our past life, I’d diverted Alex from that disaster.
Now Bellona was meddling with fate, and the consequences could tear the pack apart.
“What did you do?” I growled at her.
“None of your concern,” she purred, sliding into the carriage beside Alex.
In the following days, Bellona’s scent mingled with that of noble she – wolves as she “divined” for the pack’s elite, all while I brewed stronger potions in secret.
The night before the wedding, Alex’s lackeys delivered a threadbare gown. “The Luna’s dress must outshine all others, they sneered.
I tossed the gown into the hearth, watching

the flames devour the insult.
On the wedding morning, drums echoed through the streets.
Alex arrived on a midnight – black stallion, his eyes searching for Steven’s missing carriage.
When he found only me, a cruel smile split his face.
“Since my brother’s too weak to claim his mate, I’ll take both of you. Amelia, slink to the palace and accept your place as a lowly concubine.”
Gasps rippled through the crowd.
The square hung silent.
“Where is Amelia Wight?“Alex roared.

The Seer stepped forward.
“Your Highness… Prince Steven’s bridal team arrived at dawn. They… they carried Amelia away in a carriage cloaked in enchanted mist.””
In the grand hall of Prince Steven’s estate.
As we stood before the ceremonial altar, ready to seal our bond under the watchful eyes of the pack elders, the ground suddenly trembled.
The thunderous sound of hooves echoed through the courtyard, accompanied by a furious howl that sent shivers down the spines of every werewolf present.
Prince Alex burst through the gates on his black stallion, his eyes glowing a menacing

crimson.
“Amelia Wight! You will not marry him!”
Prince Steven stepped forward.
He gently pushed me behind him, a low growl rumbling in his chest.
“What is the meaning of this, Your Highness? Abandoning your own betrothed to steal mine?”
Alex leaped off his horse. “Brother, your frail body is no match for the rigors of a mate. Give Amelia to me as a concubine. I can at least keep her safe.”
A cold smile played on Steven’s lips.
