He closed his eyes, with a bitter smile still on his lips.

Roderick’s voice got lower and lower, with a hint of choking.

Andrea saw the nurse coming in, so she instinctively moved aside.
Roderick thought she was going to leave, his heart suddenly clenched.
He almost instinctively reached out to grab it, causing the IV bottle to shake violently.
The wound on the chest was pulled, a sharp pain shot straight to the heart.
Roderick took a sharp breath, cold sweat instantly soaking through the back of his shirt, dark red blood quickly seeping through the edge of the bandage.

Andrea’s face suddenly changed when she was scared by his actions.
The nurse frantically grabbed the shaking medicine bottle, so worried that she was stomping her feet.
“You’re asking for death! Reopening the wound for a second stitching is even more painful!”
Roderick turned to look at Andrea, fuming.
“Andie, don’t go…”
“You go change the medicine first.”
Andrea turned away, forcing down the sourness surging in her heart.
“I have something to do at my gallery, so I’m leaving first.”

When she turned around, she heard a muffled groan behind her, like needles stabbing at her heart.
