Chapter 18
He stood up, pulled her into his arms, and stepped on Bradley’s
back.
“Andie, is this the one who bullied you today? I’ll make things
right for you right now.“”
Andrea saw Bradley on the floor, almost beaten into a pulp.
However, she didn’t exactly feel satisfied.
She knew very well that Bradley was just a lackey, whereas
Roderick was the chief culprit who made her suffer.
They knew Roderick had never taken her seriously, which was
why they dared to mess with her.
In other words, she wouldn’t have suffered at all if it weren’t for
him.
Noticing her expression, Roderick pulled a long face again. He
looked at Bradley on the floor, his gaze sullen.
“Andie is still upset. Bradley, you’d better fix this.”
Bradley couldn’t help but shiver again. Immediately, he started
to slap himself hard.
Chapter 18
“Ms. Rehbein, I’m sorry. Please forgive me!”
He slapped himself with increasing force, but Roderick didn’t
seem satisfied.
He tossed a fruit knife in front of Bradley.
“Pick a finger and do it yourself”
Bradley was desperate. Losing all his strength, he sagged onto
the floor.
“Please… No… Roderick…”
Roderick squinted, smiling wickedly.
“Why? You want me to do it for you?”
He picked up the knife and fiddled with it with interest.
“I’ve been in a terrible mood lately and may have a slip of the
hand. If you really want me to do it, I’m afraid you’re gonna lose
more than one finger.””
Utterly terrified, Bradley couldn’t even utter a word, collapsing
on the floor in silence.
Just then, someone took the knife away from Roderick’s hand.
He looked up and saw Andrea’s indifferent face.
Chapter 18
Though her voice was flat, the words she said were nothing but
bold.
“I’ll do it.””
Bradley harassed her, and of course, she should avenge herself.
Roderick had never seen this side of her.
The look on her face was indifferent, obscure, resolute, and
heartless.
Hearing her words, Bradley suddenly found his voice again.
He struggled frantically, begging for mercy at the top of his
lungs, “No! Please! Roderick, help! You said that…”
He screamed before he could finish as Andrea stabbed the back
of his hand accurately and decisively. She didn’t want to hear
the rest of his words because what Roderick had instructed him
didn’t matter to her.
All she wanted now was revenge.
Then she pulled out the knife, sat beside Roderick, and
complained, “The knife’s so dull. I couldn’t even use it to cut his
finger off”
Roderick’s gaze lingered on her for a few seconds. Then he

chuckled, his tone casual.
“Andie let you off easily today. You know better than to make
the same mistake again. Right?”
Bradley bowed to Andrea while covering the back of his hand.
“Thank you, Ms. Rehbein. Thank you so much…”
The vibe here made Andrea uneasy.
The thought that perhaps everyone here had seen those videos
made her want to get out of here as soon as possible. She came
up with an excuse and asked Roderick to take her home.
On the way back, she was a bit absent–minded, and he couldn’t
fathom what was on her mind.
Presuming that she was still upset about what had happened
with Bradley, he held her in his arms and comforted her gently
after they arrived home, “Andie, Bradley is my friend after all.
“I’m partly to blame for what happened today. I’m sorry. Don’t
stay mad anymore, alright?”
He opened the cabinet doors, took out two exquisite gift boxes,
and placed them in front of her.
She forced herself to focus and opened them curiously.
