Chapter 12
In front of the doctor, Hailey was not brave enough to lie and could only tell the truth.
After listening, Andrew wrapped the gauze back in its original form, tied it back, and then moved the medicine box aside and stood up.
Watching his strange movements, Hailey’s face showed a hint of surprise.
Didn’t you want to check the wound? Why did you wrap it back up again?
After sending a few messages on his phone, Andrew picked up the keys on the table and turned around to look at her.
“Let’s go and have a thorough check–up at the hospital.”
“No need, I had already checked in Northvale, and the doctor said there was nothing wrong, so I was discharged.”
Although Hailey refused, it didn’t make any difference.
Andrew looked at her steadily, with an unwavering determination in his eyes, yet his tone was extremely gentle.
“After the car accident, it would be better to have a comprehensive check–up. You will still need your hands for drawing in the future.”
Upon hearing the last sentence, Hailey was immediately convinced and stood up to go out with him.
Two people rushed to the nearest hospital and underwent a full–body examination.
After receiving the test results and confirming that there were no issues, Hailey finally breathed a sigh of relief.
She looked at Andrew, who was attentively giving her medication, and sincerely thanked him.
“Today I troubled you, Dr. Green.”
“No need to be polite, just call me Andrew.”
Andrew?
Is this not good?
This is the first time we meet, and he is my brother’s friend. No matter what, we can’t be so intimate, right?
Hailey didn’t dare to make a sound, she was muttering to herself, when her phone rang.
She picked it up with her left hand and opened it. It was a message from Austin.
“What happened to the person? Did they disappear? Are they shy? The fiancé that I picked for you, isn’t he good?”
When Hailey’s eyes swept from left to right and landed on the words “fiancé,” they froze instantly.
Fiancé?
Was Andrew her fiancé?
She was shocked by the news and suddenly pulled back her hand, looking at the person in front of her with disbelief in her eyes.
