- 12.
Back in my hotel room, my mind was
consumed by all the things Declan had done
to me.
I gave him everything, took care of Noelle for
him, and in the end, it was all a lie.
I was stripped, humiliated, and he just
watched, doing nothing.
I hated myself for being so foolish back then.
When he told me he had a sister who needed
my care,
I thought I was helping him, sharing his burden, so I readily agreed.
But I never imagined it was all a scam to use
- me.
Coming back to the present, I typed out a
post and published it on my social media.
I hadn’t planned on saving anything, hadn’t
even planned on staying in the country.
But Declan had disgusted me so much. I
didn’t want him to have an easy life.
Because I was so famous now, the post went
viral overnight.
In it, I detailed exactly how Declan had
deceived me, how he’d abandoned me, and
how he’d stolen my money.
The comments section was flooded with
people cursing Declan.
[OMG, this guy is a total loser, how dare he
trick our Sierra!]
[I can’t believe Sierra went through something
so awful.]
[I found the video of Sierra being stripped, I cried watching it. Why didn’t anyone help her back then?]
I also wanted to ask, why was no one willing to help me then?
E
Truthfully, ever since that incident, I’d been traumatized.
I had nightmares constantly, and I always had
to wear pants with a belt.
Snapping back to reality, I answered a call
from Declan.
His voice was filled with anguish.
“Sierra, how can you be so cruel?”
“I had no choice but to deceive you back
then. Do you really have to be so heartless, to push me and Noelle to a dead end?”
“But you pushed me to a dead end back then too,”
I replied coldly.
“You lied to me, kicked me out, and took all
my money, not leaving me a single cent.”
“Declan, I will never forget those things.”
“I’m just giving you a taste of your own
medicine.”
