The next message followed immediately:
“I’ll take good care of her for you. No need to thank me!”
The sender even added a happy emoji at the end, showing his extreme excitement.
Ethan’s temples throbbed, veins bulging on his wrist as he slammed his fist on the table:
“Fuck you, Xavier!”
His sudden outburst startled Lily, who had just changed clothes and rushed over.
Ethan suddenly shouted at the men outside:
“Everyone! Leave the island! Find Aria at all costs!”
“Even if you have to raid Xavier’s hideout, find Aria for me!”
Though Ethan was furious, Lily couldn’t help feeling a bit smug. She clung to Ethan’s arm and whined:
“Husband, Aria’s gone, so what? You still have me, don’t you?”
<
“Besides, the whole city is already your territory. Losing her isn’t a big deal. Why bother with that bitch?
Lily got carried away and spoke too harshly. Ethan’s face suddenly changed.
For the first time, he felt the innocent little flower in his eyes had become so dark.
If it were Aria, she would be the first to rush out and search everywhere.
Only Aria was so kind, kind enough to make him feel utterly filthy in comparison.
Ethan’s hands clenched into fists, his voice cold and deep: “You really want her gone?”
Seeing Ethan glaring at her darkly for my sake, Lily pouted and tried to explain:
“Husband, I really didn’t mean that. I just love you so much I couldn’t control myself.”
Ethan threw the diary in her face, shouting angrily:
“Couldn’t control yourself! So you deliberately showed her this?”
“It must be your scheme, provoking her in front of me, making Aria lose heart.”
“You used such despicable means to drive her away!”
Lily’s legs went weak and she collapsed on the ground, but still tried to stay calm:
“It’s not like that, husband. You told me Aria was the person you cared about most. How could I dare hurt her?”
“I lost the diary when I came to the island. Aria must have found it-”
Before she could finish, a loud slap landed on her face. Lily’s cheek swelled up, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth.
She looked at Ethan in disbelief.
He had always treated her like a precious gem, afraid of her melting or breaking, doting on her with all his might.
He was even willing to abandon me to marry her. She never imagined Ethan would raise a hand against her.
“I already said I would marry you, compensate you. How dare you drive her away!”
“If you hadn’t saved my life, do you think I would marry you?”
“What makes you think you could ever surpass her?”
Ethan’s eyes were bloodshot, his roars deafening.
Lily was terrified. She crawled to his feet, grabbing his pants leg and begging desperately:
“Ethan, I didn’t mean to. I didn’t expect sister to be so extreme.”
“I just love you too much. I don’t want to share you with other women!”
But Ethan’s demeanor was terrifyingly cold. He bent down, his eyes red as if about to drip blood, his large hand gripping Lily’s chin.
He spoke each word slowly and horrifyingly:
“But you still deserve to die!”
“I’ll be very generous in sharing you with others…”
Then he kicked Lily away. She rolled far like a ball, covered in blood and mud, utterly wretched.

Ethan handed her to his men:
“Send her to the men below to have fun with.”
“Take it easy. Let her live a bit longer.”
Meanwhile, I had already entered Xavier’s territory.
He looked me up and down in my red dress, unable to help blurting out:
“Why didn’t you bring your two big machetes?”
