Chapter 2-1
mansion. We all stepped out of the cars and I was almost knocked off my feet by the most mouthwatering scent I had ever come across in my life. I knew exactly what that smell went, my wolf was going crazy inside me.
As calmly as I could I knocked on the door and waited for someone to open it. I knew I didn’t have to do this but I wanted to have some time to calm myself down.
An older woman opened the door and her eyes widened in shock.
“Y–your highness, h–how can I help you?” She stuttered out.
“Where is your alpha?” I demanded.
Her eyes widened even more.
“H–he’s in his bedroom, sir.”
Before I could respond, an ear–splitting scream interrupted the quiet of the house. I went to make my way past the woman and up the stairs when an older man, the beta I assumed from the power radiating
off him. He looked nervous.
“Your highness, what are you doing here, you didn’t schedule a meeting or anything.”
I sent the older man a glare that would bring even the strongest man to his knees.
“I own this territory, I don’t need to schedule anything with anybody, and you would do right to remember that Brent. Now, where is Tony, I need to talk to him, now.”

Chapter 2-2
If he looked nervous before, he looked ready to faint now. He pulled on the collar of his shirt nervously and looked to the ground.
“He’s busy right now.”
“I don’t give a fuck how busy he is I want him in front of me in thirty seconds or someone is going to pay.” I growled out.
Before he could respond another scream, the same one as before, cut through the air. There was something different about this scream, it almost physically hurt me to hear it.
I felt a hand grip my arm and I looked down to see the woman gripping my arm fiercely, a horrified look on her face.
“Please, help her.”
That was all she said before the beta had thrown her across the room, slamming her body into a wall. My men and I all let out growls and Michael jumped on him, pinning him to the floor.
“How dare you!” He roared.
The beta clearly had a death wish because instead of submitting like he should have, he spit in Michael’s face. In a split second Michael extended his canines and ripped out his throat
We had gathered a bit of a crown inside the house at this point, and I decided to use the situations as a lesson. I walked over to his body and picked it up by his hair for everyone to see.
“Let this be a lesson to anyone who thinks they can disrespect their king.”
Everyone bowed their heads in submission. I looked over the crowd and my eyes landed on the older woman from earlier, someone had helped her onto the couch. I walked over and stooped in front of
her.
“Ma’am, you said something about saving someone, where is she?”
She grabbed my hands and everyone gasped in shock. No one was allowed to lay a hand on royalty, but I knew she was of no threat to me and there were more important things to worry about right now.
“You have to help that poor girl, she can’t take anymore.”
‘Where is she, I need you to tell me where she is.” I spoke gently to her.
“He dragged her upstairs, she’s the one who was screaming, he’s hurting her. Please, you have to help her, take her away from this place.”
I looked over at Michael. “You all stay down here with them, no one leaves understood?”
They all nodded. I looked back at the woman and gently pried her hands from mine and looked up at her.
“I’m going to go get her okay?”
She nodded and gave a quiet ‘thank you‘.
I stood and walked toward the stairs. I noticed that the further I got up the stairs, the stronger that wonderful scent became. I had completely forgotten why I had come up here in the first place, the scent had consumed me.
The scent led me to a set of double doors, that’s when the stench of blood filled my nostrils and something in me snapped. I kicked the door down and let out a deafening growl filled with rage. What I saw only fueled my rage.
There he was, Alpha Tony, he was laying on top of something, or rather someone, a hammer held over his head.
My wolf took complete control of me and I lunged toward him, intent on killing him.
I had all of my attention on him, so I didn’t see the other wolf coming from my left. I quickly got rid of him, but I was met with several more wolves attacking me at once, I took them all down in a matter of minutes without even shifting, if they thought they could take down the alpha king they were dumber than I thought.
I turned around, ready to attack Tony and I let out a deafening growl when I found no one there. I was ready to rip the whole fucking room apart, but a whimper stopped me dead in my tracks. My head whipped to the bed and what I saw made my heart feel like it was being ripped out of my chest. I rushed over to the bed she was laid out on, arms chained above her head. She had deep cuts on her torso and down her arm. She was covered in blood and it soaked the mattress there was blood pouring rapidly out of her side.
“Shit.”
I knew I had to act fast, she barely had a pulse and she was losing blood too quickly. I ripped the chains from her wrists, hissing when the silver made contact with my hands. I ripped my jacket off and pressed it to the wound on her side, trying to ignore the sparks that shot up my arms when I made contact with her skin. I need to get her out of here.
“Mike! Get up here, now!”
Thead feet thundering up the stairs and Michael appeared in the door. His face paled when he saw her.
“What the hell happened to her?”
I didn’t like his eyes on her while she was naked and I growled at him.”
“Mine!”
He put his hands up in surrender and took a step back..
“Hey man, its fine, she’s yours but we need to get her some help she’s losing a lot of blood. I’m not sure about you, but I’d like to get to know my new luna. Come on man, calm down, look at her, Titus she’s dying you need to get her to a doctor right now.”
I knew he was right, so I calmed myself down the best I could and wrapped her in the blanket and cradled her in my arms, keeping pressure on her side.
