Half a month later, the entire Royal territory was immersed in the excitement of preparing for ou grand mating ceremony.
Grayson insisted on giving me a wedding worthy of the Alpha King’s Queen. Every detail had to be perfect, no expense spared.
“I want to let the entire werewolf world know that Emma is my one and only,” he declared to the wedding planners. “This ceremony will be talked about for generations.”
The scale of the wedding was beyond my wildest imagination. Alphas from all the territories across the continent came to offer their congratulations.
Even the farthest northern pack, known for their isolation and fierce independence, sent a ful delegation to attend.
The main hall had been transformed into something from a dream. Countless rare moonligh roses decorated every surface, their ethereal silver petals creating a magical atmosphere.
Those priceless flowers cascaded from the ceiling like a shimmering waterfall. The entire space was filled with their haunting, otherworldly fragrance.
I stood in the doorway, overwhelmed by the spectacular scene before me.
“These flowers must have cost a fortune,” I whispered, unable to hide my amazement.
Grayson appeared behind me, wrapping his strong arms around my waist and pulling me back against his chest.
‘For you, no amount of money is too much,” he chuckled softly in my ear, his breath sending shivers down my spine.
He gently turned my body so I was facing him, his silver eyes warm with love.
‘Besides,” he said with that gentle smile that always made my heart skip, “you love moonlight roses. I remember.”
Looking into his caring eyes, my heart was deeply touched once again. This incredible man always remembered every detail about me, even preferences I had mentioned casually years
ago.
‘You remember everything, don’t you?” I asked softly, reaching up to touch his face.
‘Everything about you is worth remembering,” he replied simply.
The wedding dress was a masterpiece created by the royal tailor team. They had worked with the finest silk imported from distant lands and countless pearls harvested from the deepest
seas.
Every stitch, every thread, every embellishment reflected the luxury and prestige of the Royal family.
When I finally put it on, the transformation was remarkable. Even Grayson, who was always composed and in control, was completely stunned when he saw me.
‘You are simply… too beautiful to be real,” he breathed, reaching out to stroke my cheek with trembling fingers. “How can I be so lucky to have you as mine?”

His voice carried such wonder and reverence that it brought tears to my eyes.
“I’m the lucky one,” I whispered back. “You saved me from a life I never want to remember.”
Just as the ceremony was about to begin, my new beta hurried over with a troubled expression.
He leaned down and whispered urgently in my ear, “Your Majesty, there’s someone outside who insists on seeing you. It’s… it’s Ethan.”
I frowned deeply. Ethan? He should have been long gone, exiled and forgotten.
“What does he look like now?” I asked with casual indifference.
My beta’s expression grew complicated and somewhat pitying. “Your Majesty, he looks absolutely miserable. Skin and bones, wearing tattered rags like a common beggar.”
He paused, clearly uncomfortable with what he had to say next.
“And Your Majesty… he claims he killed Scarlett.”
This news surprised me slightly, but I felt no emotional response whatsoever. Those people belonged to my past, and my past was dead to me.
“Why did he kill her?” I asked with mild curiosity.
“He says it was because Scarlett had been manipulating him all along, turning him against you. He blames her for everything that happened to him.”
My beta’s voice carried obvious disgust for Ethan’s pathetic excuses.
“He wants to see you one last time. Says he has something important to tell you before you get
married.”
I let out a cold laugh. Even now, at rock bottom, Ethan was still trying to shift responsibility onto
others.
He would never admit his own mistakes. He would never truly reflect on the choices that led to
his downfall.
“Tell him I don’t have time to see him,” I said with complete indifference. “Have the guards escort him away from the territory immediately.”
My voice hardened as I continued. “And if he shows up near Royal territory again, they have permission to kill him without mercy.”
My beta nodded respectfully and hurried away to deliver the message.
I took a deep breath and pushed all thoughts of Ethan from my mind. Today was the most important day of my life, and I wouldn’t let anyone from my painful past ruin it.
When the massive doors of the hall slowly opened, every single guest rose to their feet in respectful salute.
The soft glow of hundreds of candles illuminated my path as I began my walk toward the altar.
I wore that beautiful, dreamlike wedding dress and moved slowly down the aisle, feeling like I was floating on air.
Grayson stood waiting for me in front of the altar, looking magnificent in his formal royal attire. The moment his eyes found mine, they lit up with joy brighter than any star.
His face bloomed with the most radiant smile I had ever seen him wear.

Instead of waiting for me to reach him, he took the initiative to walk toward me, extending his arms like a knight welcoming his beloved princess.
“My Queen,” he whispered as he reached me, “are you ready for this?”
I placed my hand on his strong arm, smiling with absolute certainty. “I’ve never been more ready for anything in my entire life.”
The ceremony began with solemn, traditional music that filled the grand hall. When the elderly priest started reading the ancient mating vows, Grayson suddenly raised his hand.
“Wait,” he said clearly, his voice carrying to every corner of the silent hall.
He turned to face me directly, his eyes shining with pure love and devotion.
“I want to say something to Emma personally, in my own words.”
A murmur of surprise rippled through the assembled guests, but no one dared interrupt the Alpha King.
Grayson took both of my hands in his, his voice soft but strong enough for everyone to hear clearly.
“Emma,” he began, his words carrying the weight of years of patient love, “from the very first moment we met when you were just a child, I knew you were extraordinary.”
His thumbs brushed gently across my knuckles as he continued.
“Over all these years, I watched you endure suffering that would have broken lesser souls. I saw you face betrayal, abandonment, and cruelty with a strength that humbled me.”
Tears began forming in my eyes as his beautiful words washed over me.
“Your courage in the face of darkness, your kindness despite being hurt, your inner beauty that shines brighter than any star–all of these qualities are permanently engraved in my heart.”
His voice grew even more intense and heartfelt.
“I swear to you now, before all these witnesses, that I will use my life to protect you, my love to heal you, and everything I possess to ensure your happiness.”
Grayson’s grip on my hands tightened as he made his most important promise.
“You are no longer alone in this world, because you have me by your side always. You never need to be afraid again, because I will be your shield against anything that threatens you.”
His voice broke slightly with emotion as he asked the most important question.
“Emma, are you willing to be my Queen, my partner, my everything for the rest of our lives?”
Tears blurred my vision completely, but my voice rang out strong and unwavering.
“I do,” I said with absolute conviction. “I have never been more certain of anything in my entire
existence.”
The hall erupted in thunderous applause that seemed to shake the very foundations of the building.
Amid the celebration, Grayson gently cupped my face in his hands and leaned down to kiss me deeply.
The kiss was tender yet passionate, filled with years of patient waiting and infinite love finally fulfilled.
