Jasmine’s Povl
I was still shaking when I got home.
Silas noticed the change in me right away.
“Jasmine, what’s wrong?” he asked, hurrying over as I collapsed onto the couch.
I tried to smile, but my lips quivered. “It’s Bianca… she attacked me at the bridal shop.”
Silas clenched his fists. “What? What did she do?”
“She…. she pushed me, screamed at me in public, accused me of stealing her life,” I breathed heavily. “She said she’d make me suffer.”
Silas sat beside me, wrapping his arms around me tightly.
“She won’t hurt you, Jasmine. Not while I’m here.”
But even as his words tried to soothe me, my body trembled from within..
Maybe it was the stress, or the rollercoaster of emotions, but the room began spinning.
“Silas.” I whispered, clutching my stomach 1 feel dizzy…
Then everything went black.
When I opened my eyes, the sterile white ceiling of the hospital greeted me.
Silas was by my side, his hand clutching mine, eyes filled with worry!
“Thank God you’re awake, Jasmine,” he whispered, kissing my hand

“The doctor said you fainted due to exhaustion… but there’s more.”
My heart pounded, “More?”

He nodded, looking at Silas. “You protect her. She’s been through enough.”

As for Henry…
He visited once, standing awkwardly by the door.
“I heard congratulations, Jasmine,” he said quietly.
I couldn’t hide the surprise on my face.
Henry smiled faintly, his eyes still sad but accepting

Bianca turned, grinning wickedly at him.
“Well, well… Silas,” she smirked. “Long time no see.”

His eyes widened as recognition hit him.
“You…” he gasped. “Amber?”
Bianca laughed coldly. “Took you long enough.”
I looked between them, confused. “Amber? Which Amber?”
Silas clenched his fists, his jaw tight with anger.
“Amber is the woman who tried to destroy my company two years ago. She embezzled millions. She almost ruined my life. She’s the ex my mother told you about.“!
Blanca smirked, stepping closer.
“Exactly, darling. And guess what? I’m back And this time, I’ll destroy not just your company.. but your life, your marriage, everything you hold dear.”
Salas shielded me with his body. “You won’t get away with this. Where’s Jamie and your child, huh?”
“Oh, I already have,” she sneered, pulling out a gun from her bag, “Now shut up and don’t ask me questions that don’t concern you.”

Suddenly, a figure appeared out of nowhere.

“Bianca, stop” he shouted, running toward us.
She turned the gun toward him.
“Stay out of this, Henry!” she screamed.}

The sound of the gunshot echoed through the night.
I screamed.
Henry collapsed to the ground, clutching his chest, blood staining his shirt
“Henry!” I screamed, running toward him.
Silas tackled Bianca to the ground, wrestling the gun from her hands.
I told you you wouldn’t win, Silas growled.
But Blanca only laughed, even as she struggled beneath him 8
“This is only the beginning, Silas. You and your precious wife are dead.”
Silas tightened his grip on her, his face filled with rage.
Henry gasped, his voice weak as he looked at me.
“Jasmine… I’m sorry.”
Tears streamed down my face as I held his hand.
“Stay with me, Henry please__“}
Silas shouted to Rose to call an ambulance.
But Bianca only laughed louder.
“Oh, this is sweet, she sneered. “Watch your past bleed out in front of you, Jasmine. This is the price of betrayal.”
I sobbed, my hands trembling as I pressed them to Henry’s wound, trying to stop the bleeding.
“Hold on, Henry… just hold on…”
But his eyes began to flutter shut
