Chapter 23 Not Revenge

Trystan,I said and spotted several empty bottles of whiskey

There was no way Trystan’s liver could take all this alcohol

When Trystan heard my voice, his eyelashes fluttered as he

opened his eyes slightly and gazed at me coldly

Perhaps because I had disrupted his peace, the peaceful

atmosphere turned chilly in an instant. And his gaze at me grew

increasingly contemptuous

Perhaps because I had disrupted his peace, the peaceful

atmosphere turned chilly in an instant. And his gaze at me grew

increasingly contemptuous

With his lips parted slightly, Trystan ordered in a deep and cold

voice, “Get out!”

Knowing that he didn’t wish to see me, I sighed and walked to

him, saying, You’ve drunk too much, Trystan. Let’s go home.”

However, Trystan squinted as a cold smirk appeared on his face

Home? His voice was disdainful. How is that my home?”

I frowned. My temper was getting shorter due to my pregnancy

I would usually put up with his humiliation. But this time,

couldn’t help but respond grimly, How is it not your home? If

you don’t want to see me, Trystan, I can give Janet a call and let

her come to pick you up. Lexie has a business to run. So, you

rich man, stop being such a baby!”

Suddenly, Trystan grabbed me by the wrist, pulled me onto his

lap, and wrapped his arms around my waist. Then, he violently

shoved his rough fingers down my collar and sneered, The

place where you are will never be my home. I’d say it’s more like

a hotel.”

Then, Trystan grabbed me hard with his hand

I frowned in pain and was also angry. I pulled his hand out, looked at him, and said in a rage, Since it’s a hotel to you, you don’t have to go anymore. Sign the divorce agreement, and we will have nothing to do with each other.”

Suddenly, Trystan bit my shoulder. I hissed in pain, and there were almost tears

Why? You got the money, the house, and shares. So, are you going to leave me now?Trystan held me tight and smiled grimly, Evie, your love is so cheap that you withdraw it easily!”

Trystan was totally drunk. I sighed and didn’t want to waste time on him

I contained my anger and softened my voice. I held his cheeks and said, Trystan, it’s late. Let’s go back, okay?”

Trystan silently closed his eyes and leaned back on the sofa. But he wouldn’t let go of me

I didn’t know what Trystan was thinking. I paused and continued, If you don’t want to go with me, I can call Janet and let her pick you up. Is it okay?”

Trystan didn’t want to go back to the villa anyway, and he had probably been staying with Janet. If I let him stay here, it would

affect Lexie’s business. So, I rummaged through my purse, found

my phone, and was going to call Janet

However, before I could make the call, my phone was suddenly

snatched

With a bang, my phone was thrown far away

I froze. Looking back at Trystan, I was going to break down

Trystan, what on earth do you want?”

He wouldn’t go with me nor let Janet pick him up. Did he want

to die here

Let’s go home,” Trystan suddenly said. Then, he directly picked

me up and walked out, shambling

I was startled badly. I had a baby in my belly. If Trystan dropped

me accidentally, I would definitely be regretful

I dragged Trystan. I didn’t dare to be tough, so I said, Trystan

you are drunk. Let me down. I can walk. I just had surgery. If

you drop me, it won’t be good.”

Trystan suddenly froze. For no reason, he stared at me with his

deep eyes and said, Did you do that to get back at me?”

I paused and didn’t know what he was talking about. I shook my

head and said, No, that wasn’t revenge. I love you. Why would

Chapter 23 Not Revenge

do that to you? Put me down, and let’s go home, okay?”

Darn! A drunk man was just like a child

I didn’t think Trystan would listen to me. But he actually put me

down obediently. Then, Trystan gazed at me with his deep eyes

and said, Let’s go home.”

My head was throbbing. I supported Trystan and said, Okay

let’s go home.”

I didn’t know how much Trystan had drunk. We went

downstairs slowly, shambling. Lexie crossed her arms, standing

before the bar counter. She looked at me and asked, Do you

need my help?”

I shook my head and looked at her, asking, Has he paid the

bills?”

Lexie rolled her eyes at me. He basically owns this bar. He

doesn’t need to pay.”

Trystan threw himself at me. He was too heavy. I didn’t think about what Lexie meant, just nodded, and helped Trystan out of

the bar

It wasn’t easy to put Trystan in the car. Getting into the car, rested for a long while. My back was sweating, and it made my

I finally knew why people said pregnant women were delicate

This little work made me so tired

The man beside me closed his eyes slightly and didn’t look as

cold as usual. In the darkness, Trystan looked kind of soft. He

was goodlooking and had a clear facial outline. Trystan was

lucky man, rich, handsome, and having a good figure. He was

truly a perfect man

I stared at Trystan and was lost in thought. Suddenly, he opened

his eyes and looked at me. I panicked, my heart skipping a beat

I couldn’t react when I was overwhelmed by the strong smell of alcohol and tobacco, which was especially owned by Trystan. A while late, Trystan bit the tip of my tongue. I sobbed in pain

I finally realized what was happening. But why did Trystan

suddenly kiss me

The kiss was so long that I was almost unable to breathe. My head was ringing. When I was about to run out of oxygen, Trystan finally stopped

I froze and looked at him in confusion. At that moment, Trystan didn’t look as indifferent as usual. The look in his eyes was

complicated but still deep

Chapter 23 Not Revenge

Trystan…

Give me my child back,Trystan suddenly said. Then, he leaned

back on the seat and closed his eyes again

I didn’t know what to say

I was stunned and paused for a moment. Trystan might be

ar

sleeping or just having a rest. I couldn’t tell. So, I directly started

the car and drove back to the villa

But I kept thinking about what Trystan said. Give me my child

back!”

I realized that maybe he didn’t hate the kid

The idea made me have mixed feelings

Janet was like his burden forever. Even if Trystan didn’t love

Janet, he would still take care of her

If Trystan knew that I didn’t get an abortion, I was afraid that

would be in a tougher position. Things were already

complicated among the three of us. A baby would make it

worse

I chose to leave, which was the best result. At least, no one got

hurt

The car stopped downstairs at the villa. I broke down a little. It

was really not an easy thing to carry Trystan to the second floor

from the first one
