Chapter
It hurt, it hurt so much
Sylvia curled up on the ground, crying uncontrollably.
If he could not be resurrected, why would the system deceive itself in such a way?
Was it fun to play with her? Giving her hope and then completely destroying it, right?
If the system wanted to witness her painful death, she would oblige it
She stood up from the ground, walked to the coffee table, took a fruit knife, and slowly approached her own wrist.
This idea, in fact, had already been decided by her when Quentin passed away.
It was only at the last moment that the system appeared, giving her a glimmer of hope, which made her temporarily abandon the idea of secking death.
Now, it was time for her to go and accompany Quentin.
She closed her eyes, placed the blade on her wrist, and was about to exert force when suddenly the door opened.
What wer

doing?
A familiar sound came, causing Sylvia to freeze instantly.
She opened her eyes in astonishment and locked towards the door. The next second, the knife in her hand fell directly to the ground.
Quentin! It was really him!
He was still the same as five years ago, with a handsome face that carried a hint of aloofness. The sunlight shone on his face, as if it was gilded with a golden edge, making him look as if a divine being had descended.
Sylvia had never bem so joyful before, She ran towards him, crying, and then tightly embraced him
“Quentin! It’s really you!
“Where did you go? Do you know how much I missed you!”
I was really scared, scared that you wouldn’t come back
She cried uncontrollably, but this time, they were tears of joy.
Just as she was about to ask him more, those long and powerful hands gently pulled her out of his embrace
He looked at her, lus gaze gentle yet distant.
“Miss, who are you and how did you end up in my house?
In the hospital, when Sergio wake up, it was already dark
He became unconscious only when he was extremely angry. The doctor gave him an infusion, and now he is fine.
The hospital was quiet. He opened his eyes and immediately saw Sylvia’s beautiful face.
He immediately sat up and shouted loudly for his assistant’s name.
“Where is Sylvia? Take me to see Sylvia!”
The assistant rushed over upon hearing the sound, consoling with a helpless expression.
“President, please accept my condolences. Ms. Campbell has indeed passed away.”
Sergio sneered, his eyes filled with a chilling coldness,
“If you dare to talk nonsense to me again, just get lost,”
After saying that, he lifted the blanket and was about to get out of bed.
The assistant made up his mind and stepped forward to stop him again.
“President, accept the reality, Ms. Campbell has passed away!
“When she was undergoing a heart donation surgery, the rescue efforts were unsuccessful, and she had already passed away.”

Chapter 11
Sergio froze, yeah, what was he really up to?
Did all of this happen, wasn’t it something he should have anticipated?
No matter how skilled the doctor was in performing the surgery, after all, it involved transplanting the most important organ from the body.
A person like that, who needs to rely on machines to survive, is essentially playing with their life, i
Isn’t it?
So all of this blame lies with him, and has nothing to do with the hospital or the doctors.
It was him, who insisted on her donating her heart for Miriam
It was him, who clearly promised to marry her, but then he regretted it at the last minute, lewing her completely heartbroken.
It was him who killed Sylvia, and there was someone else who should have been buried with her.
He lay weakly on the bed, suddenly remembering the gift Sylvia had given him before entering the operating room.
That was the surprise she gave him, and he hadn’t had a chance to see it yet!
With this in mind, he immediately ordered his assistant to bring the box over.
Sergio couldn’t want and opened the boot, but to his surprise, there was only a voice recorder inside after he opened it
He tremblingly picked up the recurder, shaking uncontrollably all over his body.
Is it possible that it was her leaving a farewell message for herself?
Thinking of her voice, he couldn’t help but feel heartbroken.
He had been doing mental preparation for a long time and finally pressed the play button.
“Mirian, Sergio loved you so much!”
“He said he would give you such an expensive necklace, and he did. When you cried, he felt so sorry for you, he wished he could give you his life.”
“By the way, you said before that your only treated him as a younger brother and went abroad with your ex–boyfriend. As a result, your ex–boyfriend ran away as soon as he heard about your heart disease. Dily Sergio stood by you, and now he has done so much for you. Even a heart made of stone would have been warmed by his actions. You wouldn’t still consider him just a younger brother, would you?”
“How could you have been deceived by me? Being a younger brother was just an excuse.
“Men just love what they can’t have. If not, how can I become his beloved, who is both desirable and unattainable?
“As long as I kept stringing Sergio along, he would always love me, which was much better than being with him,”
“Of course, is there any man in this world who can compare to Sergio?”
“That man was just a pawn I brought in on purpose to make Sergio jealous.”
“Didn’t you see Sergio being constantly depressed and obsessed with me all these years?”
“Wow, your move was really brilliant, Gao!”
“But Miriam, don’t go too far. I heard that Sergio is getting married to Sylvia, that lapdog of yours, all for the sake of your heart.”
“If they got married, all your schemes would be in vain!”
Miriam spoke confidently.
“I had a sense of propriety about this.”
“Moreover, Sergio didn’t care about that woman. A few days ago, I intentionally slapped myself three times, and he had someone slap her thirty times. Today, I threw the necklace into the sea, and without hesitation, he kicked her into the water. She hasn’t come up yet.”
“I had ways to mess with her, don’t worry, I definitely wouldn’t let them get
Miriam’s voice, at that moment, seemed so undanillar.
Sergin is
married.”
istened to that recording over and over again, gripping the voice recorder tightly in his hands, his knuckles turning white
Judiculous! It’s so ridiculous!
