walked to the front of the champagne tower and picked up another glass of wine.
Most of the alcohol served at the banquet was not strong, but unfortunately Wayne, due to his congenital heart disease, had never drunk alcohol before. Even a low–alcohol champagne would be too much for him, and on top of that, he drank too quickly. Half a glass of wine went down his throat, causing him to cough uncontrollably.
Douglas was a bit flustered and couldn’t understand why the ancestor suddenly decided to grab a glass of wine.
Seeing that Wayne still had some unfinished business, he hurriedly wanted to intervene, but he was too far away to even have a chance.

They had just drunk the same glass of wine, and she drank from the same spot where he had drunk
Is this considered an indirect kiss?
With this in mind, his gaze fell upon her lips. She was skilled at choosing lipstick, and he wondered if it was because of her pale complexion. Most of the colors she chose were considered deathly by others, but strangely suited her in a mysterious way,
She felt uncomfortable under his gaze, and after a slight cough, she turned her head to avoid his eyes. She lowered her gaze and spoke with a hint of awkwardness, “Mr. Wyatt, you’re drunk. Let me help you to your room first.”
Douglas nearby watched this development in astonishment and then looked down at the surveillance video they had just received, suddenly feeling
hesitant.
So, should this video… be sent to Mr. Wyatt?
Seeing Wayne had already walked out of the banquet hall with Aliana, Douglas thought for a moment and decided to send the video to his email, then quietly followed them.
After all, every time Mr. Wyatt took Aliana out, his top priority task was to keep a close eye on her.
Booked a room with Wayne’s ID card, she sent him to the room, wiped his face and hands for him, and thoughtfully placed his slippers at his feet. Seeing that he just looked at her and didn’t mean to make any moves, she sighed helplessly, lifted his feet, and changed the slippers for him.
“Could you bathe yourself?”
She tried to inquire, but he seemed to have forgotten that being drunk was just an excuse she randomly chose to leave, and he just stared at Aliana without saying a word.
She resigned herself to giving him water, reaching out to test the temperature, which was just right.
Wayne pushed her into the bathroom and without much hesitation, she turned around and headed towards the room door, saying, “I’ll go find Douglas.”
As soon as the door opened, she met eyes with Douglas in the hallway. He awkwardly smiled and said, “Ms. Dunlap, what is this?”
Aliana was calm and stood at the door, leaning to the side. “Mr. Wyatt got drunk, so I let him have some water. I was just about to go find…”
The words were not finished yet, but her wrist was suddenly grabbed, followed by a tremendous force that pulled her into the room. The next second, the door slammed shut in front of Douglas.
Be did not miss the trace of panic in Allana’s eyes when she was pulled in. He could say, in fact, when he first came over, was he worried about Wayne’s innocence?
