Malcolm was indeed furious ; Valerie , this was Ashleys personal effort to apologize to you ! Why are you so despicable ? This is not an apology to me , it is as if they are afraid that I am not angry enough .
I ignored him and laughed out loud while looking at the Banjo my best friend shared on my phone .
My indifference sharply contrasted with his frustration .
Malcolms face darkened .

Malcolm didnt believe it , and while I wasnt paying attention , he snatched it away .
