She still couldn’t tell the three little ones about finding their older brother. The mischievous trio was too clever for their own good- they’d definitely mess up her plans.
The three little ones nodded quickly. They knew their mommy had enemies.
Only then did the trio obediently head back to their room.
Amanda knew her boys were wicked smart and cunning–no one could just snatch them away.
Still, she sighed. Why couldn’t I have had a daughter?

Cindy waved her off with a disdainful expression. “Go on, no one’s stopping you. But hey, I’ve got some celebrity–level custom cheongsam orders coming in. You need to send me the design drafts. Carol’s coming too. If you’re designing I’m taking the order.”
Amanda grabbed her bag and smirked wickedly. “Take it. Why wouldn’t we! That Carol’s loaded–we’re gonna milk her dry.”
Fanny looked at her and wiped away a tear. “Amanda, don’t go yet. I have something to tell you.”
Amanda sat back down and gave her a look that said, Spit it out already.
Fanny gulped, then said cautiously, “Amanda, Micheal has a mistress now. It’s that new assistant at his office. I think my mother–in–law set the whole thing up.
Amanda, Cindy, and Thra all said in unison:
“She would do that!”
Amanda frowned. “Why would she?”
“Because I haven’t gotten pregnant. She wants a grandchild.” Fanny bit her lip, thinking maybe if she had a baby, Micheal wouldn’t be messing
around out there.
Amanda narrowed her eyes. “I know exactly what you’re thinking–and let me tell you, you’ve got donkey crap for brains.”
She stood up and left without hesitation. She had other things to arrange. Harry wasn’t going to let things go so easily.
Cindy kicked Fanny in the leg and glared at her. “Go home and get some sleep. Talk to us when your head’s clear.”
Tara added dryly. “Sis, hope you escape your hell soon.
Cindy walked a few steps before turning back, still pissed. “How many women has Micheal had now? You wanna share that man with all. of them, that’s your call. What I can’t stand is seeing you looking so dead inside. Makes me want to kick you right off the couch.”
Fanny stared at her for a second, then flopped down onto the sofa, really going to sleep. There were still tears on her face.

“Ha lu Well, that was subtle,” Fanny blinked, finally processing what she’d heard. Her big widened in shock.
Amanda didn’t bother hiding it. Cindy and Tara already knew, so she told Fanny the whole story.
“So, babe, you’re basically off to be a widow?” Fanny stared at her, stunned. She thought she was ridiculous, but Amanda was on another level
Then again, the four of them were all a bunch of glorious messes–maybe that’s why they made the perfect group of besties.
“Tch. I’m not like you–you idiot. Letting yourself get abused like this and still sticking around.” Amanda’s rare fierce expression made. even the kids go quier

Chapter 19
Tod looked at her with big, round eyes, carefully hiding the cunning spark within. He just wanted to be Mommy’s good baby.
“We’re good kids. We don’t do bad things”
Then he crossed his legs and lay back to read, figuring he’d better behave or risk getting smacked
Ted was gaming and didn’t even look up. “Unless Fanny’s taking us to see Mommy”
Cindy paused. The Schmidt family estate? She couldn’t get in there. Whatever. These two were on her blacklist for now.
She turned to look pleadingly at Terry.
Terry was the most capable one–give him some milk money and anything could be done.
With a sly little smile. Terry walked up to her with his chubby legs and spoke in a soft, sweet voice. “Cindy Mommy, I know what you’re up to. Let’s go together. But when we come back, you have to buy me one fried chicken and a can of formula.”
“Deal” Cindy beamed. “You’re the best, Terry! I buy you two fried chickens!”
Terry grinned like a cat with cream. “Cindy Mommy, you’re the best! I love you.”
After a quick disguise, the two snuck out.
Downstairs, Terry looked up at her. “Cindy Mommy, are we going to get revenge for Mommy Fanny!”
Cindy’s face darkened at the memory of Fanny’s tears. “Terry, we’re not doing anything bad. We’re going to collect evidence. We can’t let that scumbag bully your Mommy Fanny
Terry nodded seriously and hoisted his big milk boule onto his back. “Let’s go, Cindy Mommy. I’ve got a plan.”
His big eyes sparkled with mischief
Someone’s definitely about to have a very bad day.
