Seventeen was the perfect age for studying, and Stella wasn’t about to let Jimmy slack off.
“I’m enrolling at Ashford High School too,” she added.
“Awesome!” Jimmy replied enthusiastically.
He was thrilled at the thought of attending the same school as Stella! He could carry her backpack every day, bring her breakfast, and buy her snacks!
“But I’m not sure if Ashford High will accept me with my grades.”
He looked a bit worried and got up to pour Stella a glass of water.
Well, it was bound to happen.
He wasn’t Stella’s only servant anymore!
Stella took Jimmy’s glass and drank a sip before asking, “What’s your current score?”
Jimmy blinked. “Not quite six hundred.”
Stella looked surprised. “That’s not bad. There’s still more than half a year left before the SAT. You can definitely raise it into the six hundreds. What’s your exact score?”
Jimmy said, “Sixty.”
Stella’s hand flew out, ultimately landing a smack on Ethan’s head.
Calm down, calm down. Given what Louis Academy was like, scoring sixty was already impressive!
Ethan didn’t protest the slap. In fact, he felt he deserved it.
It really was his fault.
“Take it slow. Jimmy’s a smart kid,” Ethan consoled his sister.
Meanwhile, in the next room-
Hannah had completed the hospital admission process and was now lying in bed.
Lucas had gone out to check on Stella’s room, then returned, took Hannah’s hand, and said,

Hannah was touched by how much Lucas cared about her health and immediately got up.
Hand in hand, the two of them walked out of the hospital room.
When they passed by Stella’s door, Lucas deliberately stopped.
It was a VIP room, large and filled with sunlight, with a beautiful view and even a dining table.
Inside, the atmosphere was cheerful as everyone sat down to lunch. The spicy aroma wafted
out.
The girl with the long hair had thrown it into a casual ponytail and was devouring her food with her head down, oblivious to the scene outside.
The others were chatting casually, not paying attention to the door.
Lucas frowned and gave a loud cough.
Hannah, who had been walking normally beside him, found it odd that he suddenly stopped. She turned her head and saw Lucas staring into the neighboring room.
She followed his gaze and spotted a familiar figure, her pupils contracting.
The man sat there eating with a dignified air, dressed in a sharp black suit. A string of black rosary beads hung from his wrist, and he radiated a cold, commanding presence.
Hannah’s eyes flickered.
She’d forgotten–Ethan’s beloved sister was in the hospital. Of course he would be here!
What a sister–obsessed maniac!
Hearing Lucas cough deliberately, Hannah’s heart leapt with joy.
He wanted Ethan to see them looking all sweet and loving, didn’t he?
The loud cough at the door finally drew the attention of the people inside.
Everyone looked up to see Lucas and Hannah standing hand in hand outside.
Ethan’s gaze turned cold.
Why was Lucas at the hospital?

Seeing Hannah’s arm in a sling, Ethan understood.
He was here to accompany her during her hospital stay.
But what was with that deliberate cough while holding her hand at the door?
Whatever his intentions, seeing this would surely upset Stella!
Stella, meanwhile, was blissfully munching away in her own little world.
So it took her a second to react.
Just as she was about to turn her head-

Ethan ran his fingers over the rosary and said, “Did someone drop a hundred bucks on the floor?”
Stella immediately spun her head and bent down. “Where? Where?”
Nancy bent down too. “Why didn’t I see it?”
Jimmy went so far as to crawl under the table. “Where’s the money?”
Three money–obsessed gremlins all at one table.
Ethan gave Tina a look and then got up and walked toward the door.
Tina, who always carried some cash on her, pulled a hundred out of her pocket and casually dropped it to the floor.
As Ethan walked over, Hannah’s heart skipped a beat.
What was he going to say?
He had liked her so much back then–he must still be a little hung up on her, right?
But Ethan said nothing.
He simply gave Lucas a cold, warning glare, extended the hand with the rosary beads, and calmly shut the hospital room door.
