The Heir 102

The Heir 102

Chapter 102

Mia walked along the shoreline, the cool sand beneath her feet grounding her thoughts.

Each step she took was accompanied by the gentle rhythm of waves.

Her head is filled with different thoughts, thoughts she didn’t want to think about.

She had come a long way. From the girl who once watched life pass by from the sidelines to the woman now entangled in a love she never dared to dream of.

Her thoughts drifted to Alex. He had always been the unreachable figure in her fantasy

A gorgeous young man exuding an aura of mystery and power. She remembered the countless times she had seen him at Casa, effortlessly commanding attention without uttering a word. His presence was magnetic, his silence intriguing.

Back then, her feelings for him were nothing more than a harmless crush. He was unattainable, a beautiful fantasy she indulged in during quiet moments.

He had a stunning girlfriend, Zoe, whose fashion sense Mia couldn’t help but admire. The idea of being with someone like Alex was as impossible as the dream of touching the stars.

She admired him from far, crush on him silently. No one needed to know, so she was safe.

And then Alex approached her,Mia had almost literally almost lost her mind.

Being with him, being close to him, feeling his hands on her body, his lips on hers, being touched by him made her realize she felt for him something far more than a simple harmless crush.

Her feelings were dangerously strong and there was nothing harmless about it.

Well, here she is, entangled in a relationship with the very man she once thought was beyond her reach.

A fantasy people like her didn’t dare have….

The lines between reality and fantasy had blurred, leaving her in a state of disbelief..

And then the big question that keeps pushing its way to her head. Alex has shown him enough to show she’s important to him.

Were they truly dating?

The term dating felt too simple to capture the depth of their connection. Still… she just wishes he could say it.

A smile tugged at her lips just thinking about Alex.

Was she happy? Very….

Was she scared? Absolutely.

The vulnerability that came with loving someone so deeply was both exhilarating and terrifying.

Her phone buzzed, pulling her from her thoughts. She glanced at the screen to see a message from Alex:

Baby, where are you?*

Chapter 102

Her heart fluttered at the term of endearment. She resisted the urge to scream with joy, instead letting out a soft laugh.

The sea breeze blows through her hair as she spun around, a grin spreading across her face. The simple message reaffirmed what she felt in her heart-they love each other.

Maybe she was deluded, but she believed in their future. Whatever challenges lay ahead, they would face them together.

“I have to move back home,” Mia murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.

Alex’s fingers paused their gentle tracing along her arm. “I figured as much,” he said softly.

She sat up slightly, looking into his eyes. “I loved being your roommate,” she said smiling.

Alex chuckles and the sound never fails to make her heart flutters.

“You were never my roommate though, I didn’t get your part of rent”

Mia’s eyes blow wide. “I couldn’t even pay a day rent of this house if you asked me”

“Good thing I’m not asking” Alex says smirking.” They are plenty of ways you can pay thou-”

Mia hits him lightly on the chest making Alex laugh….

Alex pulls her into a tight hug.

“Thank you, Alex.”

“For what?” Alex asked, kissing her forehead.

“For everything, for approaching me that day, buying me food, offering your place. Thank you. I have no idea why I said yes but I’m grateful I did”

“Of course you do” Alex says.

Mia raised her head from his chest to look at him, confused, she asked. “Huh?”

“You agreed cause you’ve always had the hots for me Turner”

Mia laughs.

“Always staring at me at Casa thinking I wouldn’t notice” Alex says smiling.

Mia hides her face on his chest, groaning.

“Shut up” she says.

They both start laughing, then they are staring at each other, the next seconds their lips are on each other.

Alex holds her face to guide her lips properly as he claims it over and over again.

Mia feels her heart flutter over and over, she is so in love with this man

They pull away from each other. Eyes running over each other’s face.

“There’s a party happening in Willowcrest next week. I don’t know if you’ve heard of the Unicorn Party.”

Mia paused, no way?

She burst into laughter, the sound filling the room. “Heard about it?, I literally lived through it”

Alex raises a brow in question.

“My sister literally talked about it so much that it almost became a national anthem in our house”

Alex chuckles.

“She got an invite?” Alex asked.

“Don’t ask me how? But she did”

“She even bought a gown days after getting the invite and won’t let anyone near it. She almost turned the corner where the gown was hanging to a shrine.”

Alex chuckles.

“Well at least she is dedicated,” Alex says chuckling.

“It is,” Mia agreed.

After a moment, Alex looked at her seriously. “I want you to come with me to the party.”

Mia’s laughter faded, replaced by surprise. “You want me to accompany you to the Unicorn Party? Me?”

“Yeah,” he said, his gaze steady.

Mia was speechless, completely.

Alex gently held her face, his thumb brushing her cheek. “What are you thinking about?”

“Everyone will know,” Mia said shyly.

“Know what? That you’re my girlfriend?” he asked, a hint of amusement in his voice.

Mia froze, her eyes wide. Alex had just defined their relationship, something she had been worrying about.

“What, you don’t want to date me?” he teased.

“Of course, I want to,” she almost screamed, then suddenly felt shy.

Alex laughed, Mia pouts. Alex kisses her lips.

“Come to the unicorn party with me baby” Alex says again, but more serious this time.

“You’re really serious?”

“Yeah”
