Dante’s mind went blank for a few seconds. He wasn’t even sure how he ended up inside the venue.
All he knew was when he reached the wedding site, it felt like a bolt of lightning struck him.
The massive screen lit up. First, it displayed his and Evelyn’s bond–breaking deal. Then came
ninety–nine wedding photos of him and Natalia. Then a series of pictures of him dining with Natalia’s parents.
Dante staggered and collapsed into a chair, dazed.
His mind began replaying every interaction he’d had with Evelyn in recent days and that night by
the lake.
That was when he realized that Evelyn must’ve known about Natalia long ago.
That “goodbye” from her… now sounded like a real farewell.
She had misunderstood him. Terribly.
Dante looked up at Ophelia again, his voice heavy with sorrow.
“Where did Evelyn go?”
Ophelia only shook her head.
“Sorry. Luna gave strict orders, so I can’t tell you.”
At that moment, a figure hurried into the hall.
Natalia, dressed in a wedding gown, beamed as she walked in, clearly full of excitement, but nothing like the frail patient she’d played at the hospital that afternoon.
“So this is the surprise? A mating ceremony for us? I love it!”
Compared to Natalia’s delight, Dante’s face was grim.
“Who told you to come? Leave! Now. I’ll talk to you tonight.”
Natalia pouted, her elegant and arrogant face clouded with displeasure.
She could hardly wait to become Dante’s Luna.
“Didn’t you invite me? You arranged this wedding for us–of course I should be here as your future

Luna.”
“But Dante, since you’ve already broken your mate bond with Evelyn, why didn’t you tell me? Were you trying to surprise me?”
“Oh! When does the ceremony start? Did you invite my parents? Are there more surprises coming?”
Her rapid–fire questions gave Dante a splitting headache.
Just as he was about to force her to leave, a crowd of guests flooded into the hall.
They stared around the venue in shock.
One by one, their eyes landed on the screen where displayed the bond–breaking deal, Dante and Natalia’s wedding photos and the images of him with Natalia’s parents.
Seeing so many people rushing over, Dante panicked and shouted, “No one is allowed in!”
He pointed at the big screen. “None of this is real!”
Suddenly, the screen flickered–and a video started playing.
It was the footage Evelyn had secretly recorded by the lake, showing Natalia and Dante having sex.
The
guests immediately turned their attention to the wedding photos on display, their whispers growing louder.
“So… our Luna was betrayed?”
“No wonder Luna Evelyn didn’t show up to her own birthday banquet today. Turns out she’s done with Alpha Dante–and honestly, I don’t blame her!”
Dante’s expression darkened. He roared, “Turn it off!”
But the screen flickered again.
Now it displayed screenshots of messages between Evelyn and Dante which was captured by Evelyn.
The first screenshot was a thirty–second voice message from Natalia, clearly taunting.
Ophelia had thoughtfully added audio to play alongside it.
“I’ve been back in the Pack for six months. I handed him one cocktail, and he fell for it.”
“Tonight he gave me a gold cake, but I don’t even like cake–especially not gold ones. So we took a

photo and trashed it. my birthday cake became your anniversary cake. How’s that taste? Did your eyes get enough of a feast?”
Gasps echoed throughout the room.
Natalia’s face drained of color. Panic crept into her heart.
That wretched Evelyn–how dare she leak their private messages?
Beneath that provocative voice message was a post from “Dante“-a photo of him in bed with Natalia, along with a mirror selfie of Natalia wearing a men’s couple hoodie.
The second screenshot showed Dante having a candlelit dinner with Natalia on the night of his five–year mating anniversary.
The third was a location pin near a lake–accompanied by a photo implying a lake hookup.
The fourth screenshot featured three wedding dress photos, and a caption from “Dante” taunting
Evelyn, suggesting he was ready to be shared between them.
Whispers spread quickly among the guests as they bowed their heads to gossip. Why was it Natalia’s voice in the message that was supposedly from Dante?
“Let me take a wild guess, could it be that Natalia used Dante’s phone to send all this to Evelyn?”
That one comment answered everyone’s doubts and at the same time, ignited their fury.
Dante finally understood. His eyes turned blood–red as he stepped toward Natalia, fury radiating
from him.
“You said you were just playing games on my phone, but you were actually texting Evelyn–trying to provoke her?”
