Chapter 93
After speaking, the two of them burst out laughing at the same
time.
After chatting idly for a while, Cora picked up her tablet,
intending to find a movie to pass the time. But when a news
notification popped up, her eyes widened in surprise.
“Neeta, look at this!” Cora suddenly thrust the tablet in front of
her. On the screen was a teaser poster for Miguel’s art
exhibition.
At the center of the image was an unfinished portrait, the
canvas only outlining a woman’s profile. In tiny letters at the
bottom right corner, it read: “To K.”
“Isn’t that obviously you?” Cora said. “And K… for Kaneeta?”
Kaneeta frowned slightly.
Miguel’s teaser poster had already sparked quite a bit of
discussion online.
“Who is K?”
“Could it be someone Miguel likes?”
Chapter 93
“Is Miguel in a relationship?”
“Who is he dating? I’m curious.”
But no matter how much people speculated online, Miguel
never responded.
“Isn’t this a bit much?” Cora frowned deeply. “Honestly, anyone
who knows you would recognize that profile as yours.”
The profile on the poster was drawn with gentle lines, the curve
at the corner of the eye exactly matching Kaneeta’s usual
expression. Even the tiny mole on her earlobe was depicted
with striking clarity.
Cora slammed the tablet down on the table, not even bothering
to wipe away the crumbs of chocolate stick falling from her lips.
“I think he did it on purpose! Maybe he knows you and
Woodrow are supposed to be engaged, and wants to make
Woodrow misunderstand?”
As soon as she finished speaking, Kaneeta’s phone suddenly
vibrated.
She grabbed her phone almost reflexively, but the name that
popped up on the screen wasn’t Woodrow’s. Instead, it was a
text from an unfamiliar number: “Ms. Drayton, the exhibition
poster was my own selfish decision. If it bothers you, I can take

it down immediately. – Miguel”
“He even dares to message you?” Cora leaned over, so angry she
nearly smashed the tablet. “What does he mean by ‘selfish
decision‘? What right does he have to involve you in his
selfishness?”
Kaneeta stared at the message, her thumb hovering above the
screen, unable to bring herself to respond.
Take it down? With Miguel’s influence in the art world,
suddenly replacing the teaser poster would only cause a bigger
stir. By then, the identity of “Miss K” would be dug up even
more thoroughly.
At that point, her relationship with Miguel would become an
even hotter topic of discussion.
“Neeta, you should tell him to take it down.”
“Forget it, there’s no need.“‘ Kaneeta didn’t reply to Miguel’s
message. She put down her phone, her expression calm.
“But…”
“It’s just an unfinished painting,” Kaneeta said lightly. “Besides,
the person in the painting only looks like me in profile.”
Chapter 93
How Miguel’s exhibition turned out was his own business.
She had nothing to hide, so why bother deceiving herself?
“But… what if Woodrow really misunderstands?” Cora asked
cautiously.
“If he misunderstands, I’ll explain,” Kaneeta smiled. “As long as I
explain clearly, it’ll be fine.”
She didn’t think Woodrow was the kind of person who would
lose his temper without knowing the facts.

“Ed, look at this!”
Hily
Nyasia held out her phone to Edmund like she was presenting a
treasure.
On her phone screen was the teaser poster for Miguel’s art
exhibition.
Edmund had only glanced at it casually at first, but when he saw the profile on the poster, he suddenly snatched the phone,
his eyes boring into the screen.
“Where did this come from? Who painted it?” he asked coldly.
Chapter 93
“It’s the teaser poster for Miguel’s exhibition,” Nyasia replied
with a smile. “Looks like Ed recognized it too–this… isn’t it Ms.
Drayton?”
Edmund’s gaze fell on the “To K” in the bottom right corner.
