Chapter 80
“Didn’t I tell you not to call me without my permission?”
Faced with Nyasia’s angry questioning, the man on the other
end of the line stammered, “I—I know, but you didn’t reply to
my messages. You haven’t paid any attention to me for days,
Nya, I miss you so much.”
“I don’t care about any of that. Stop bothering me!”
“Nya, can’t you really come back to me?” The man’s tone was
dejected and sad. “I know I can’t compare to Edmund right now,
but I’ll work hard. I’ll make my company even better than the
Kuntz Group…”
“Oh, please, can you stop being so naive? With that little company of yours, how long do you think it would take to catch
up to the Kuntz Group?” Nyasia said with disdain.
After speaking, she warned him again, “Don’t go looking for
Edmund! I’m warning you, if you dare let him find out the truth,
I’ll never speak to you again!”
“Nya, don’t worry, I won’t do anything that would upset you,”
the man said bitterly. “I just want to make you happy.”

Nyasia snorted in contempt, but at that moment, something
suddenly occurred to her.
“You said you want to make me happy?“ib
“Yes!” the man replied quickly. “As long as it makes you happy,
I’m willing to do anything!”
“Alright then, as it happens, I really do have something I need you to do for me right now!”
“Nya, just say the word.”
A sinister glint flashed in Nyasia’s eyes. “Kaneeta, you
remember her, don’t you?”
“Of course I remember,” the man said. “Isn’t she the woman who
got into a car accident two years ago, Edmund’s girlfriend?”
“No need for all that!” Nyasia snapped angrily, took a deep
breath, and continued, “I need you to find her, and then, take
care of her.”
Right now, Lila was watching her closely, so there was nothing
she could do herself.
But that didn’t matter.
She could always have someone else do it for her.

And this way, when everything came to light in the future, she
could keep her own hands clean.
But the man didn’t agree right away. Instead, he hesitated and
said, “Nya, if Kaneeta dies, then you and Edmund..”
“Weren’t you just saying you’d do anything for me?”
The man fell silent.
Nyasia clenched her fists, then suddenly switched to a pitiful
tone: “Do you know how much I’ve suffered since I came back
to the country?”
“What? You’ve been wronged?”
Nyasia’s fingertips played with the tassels of her silk nightgown.
Her tone was pitiful, but her expression was cold.
“Yes, ever since I came back, Kaneeta has been targeting me in
every way, rallying others at the company to ostracize me, even
stealing my hard–earned achievements. Most importantly, do
you know that not long ago, because of her framing, I ended up
in a detention center! Do you have any idea how many beatings
I took in there?”
“She dared to treat you like that!” the man roared in anger, and
the sound of things being smashed could be heard on the other

end of the line.
The corners of Nyasia’s mouth curled up, not the least bit
surprised, as if she had already expected this reaction from the
man.
“That’s right, and Edmund cares about her a lot now. Just a
moment ago, he even pushed me down because of her. My knees are still red.” pagal
“Nya, I–I didn’t know you’d suffered so much…”
“So, you really don’t want to help me get rid of Kaneeta? That’s
fine, I’ll just keep enduring all this pain.”
“No! Nya, I understand. I’ll take care of Kaneeta for you.”
“Good, then I’ll be waiting for your good news.”
After hanging up, Nyasia walked to the floor–to–ceiling window
and let out a soft laugh as she gazed at the night view of
Calchester.
That man, though timid in front of her, she knew just how
ruthless and vicious he could be when he set his mind to
something.
“Kaneeta, you survived that car accident two years ago, but this

time, I don’t believe you’ll escape death again!” Nyasia thought.
At that moment, Kaneeta was in her own room, talking on the
phone with the drunken Cora.
