Felix wondered, did Edmund really dump Kaneeta for Nyasia?
If this guy actually did something like that, it would be
unbelievably heartless.
Felix felt a bit indignant on Kaneeta’s behalf, but even more, he
was eager for gossip. He went to sit in a corner, took out his
phone, and messaged Edmund.
“Ed, did you break up with your girlfriend?”
After Felix sent the message, Edmund didn’t reply right away.
He couldn’t help but sneak a glance at Kaneeta.

called a true beauty.

herself to Edmund for five years and given him so much, and

After quite a while, Edmund finally replied. Even through text,
Felix could sense his impatience.
“What nonsense are you talking about?”
“Huh? You didn’t break up?” Felix was confused.
“How could Neeta and I possibly break up? Who told you such
rubbish?”
Felix glanced at Kaneeta with a hint of melancholy and replied,
“I heard it from her herself…”
Edmund immediately asked, “Where are you?”
Felix sent him the address and asked again, “Are you coming
over? What’s going on, did you two break up or not?”
“Of course not. Neeta’s just been upset with me lately, that’s all.”
Felix understood instantly.
No wonder–he thought Kaneeta would never be willing to
break up with Edmund. So it was just a lovers‘ quarrel.
“Then you should hurry over and make up with her.”
“Why did you run into her there? What is she doing over
there?”

“I came to this party with a friend, just to meet more people. She
came with her uncle. By the way, speaking of which, how come
you never told us she has such an impressive uncle? Or did you
not know either?”
After he sent that message, Edmund didn’t reply again-
probably already driving over himself.
Thinking this, Felix couldn’t help but sneak another look at
Kaneeta.
He found that Kaneeta glanced back at him, her brows slightly

Felix suddenly felt a little guilty. Maybe he shouldn’t have sent
Edmund the address?
But then again, he was just trying to help the couple make up as
soon as possible.

She figured he was probably telling Edmund that she was here.
