As Jessica finished speaking, Hailey froze, her heart sinking like a stone.
Before she could react, Jessica’s sharp, cold eyes fixed on her.
“Clara’s will mentions a publishing rights transfer agreement, a literary studio ownership agreement, and a personal asset transfer agreement.”
“All three agreements were signed under duress, and while the principal, my client, was not of sound mind. They were signed against her true wishes.”
“According to the law, all three were rendered null and void upon the principal’s death.”
“Therefore, the three agreements that were to transfer assets to Hailey are all null and void!”
Hailey shot up from her seat. “Why?!”
Her shriek was so piercing that Clara’s family turned to stare at her.
Realizing her outburst, Hailey forced herself to suppress her fury and squeezed out a smile.
“I mean, Dad specifically approved those agreements, for Clara to transfer them to me.”
“For her to just say they’re invalid… isn’t that a slap in the face to Dad?”
Hailey’s voice trailed off as she noticed Jessica was watching her with a cold smirk.
Clara’s mother slowly stood and walked to the projector.

And a video testimony from the coerced lab technician.
The evidence laid out an irrefutable timeline of how Hailey had stolen Zane’s credentials, threatened his subordinate, and swapped the reports.
