Chapter 13
A divorce certificate.
Graham stepped back in disbelief, feeling like he’d been hit hard and could barely stand.
“I think you guys were crazy, you actually dared to fool me with a fake certificate!”
He wouldn’t take it, so the maid just had to open the divorce certificate and show it to him.
His name was clearly written on it, and the date was today.
But how was that possible?
He didn’t allow it, Melody just couldn’t possibly divorce him.
Graham took the divorce certificate, stared hard at the words on it, and tried desperately to find something wrong.
Suddenly, he froze all over and remembered.
After Melody donated part of her liver to Tyler, he said he would make it up to her, anything at all.
She just asked him for two A4 sheets with his signature.
She didn’t want him anymore.
Graham’s vision went black, and he barely managed to stay on his feet by holding onto the table.
Obviously, he didn’t like her.

But at that moment, it felt like a chunk of flesh had been ripped out of his heart, and even breathing was bloody and painful.
Graham took out his phone and called Melody.
Couldn’t get through, so I sent a message.
“Where are you now, I’ll come pick you up, I didn’t agree to the divorce.”
“We’ll have kids later, I’ll send Elaine away, and you stop making a fuss, okay?”
Still, no response.
Graham just felt like he was stuck in mud, his mind totally blank.
By the way, Melody’s adoptive mom.
Melody didn’t want him, but she definitely wouldn’t just leave Olive alone.
Graham staggered outside, then a sharp pain hit his stomach. He clutched it hard, cold sweat pouring down.
“Graham…”
Elaine came in from outside, ran over in a panic, and said, “What happened to you? Where does it hurt?”
Graham’s voice was hoarse, “My stomach was acting up.”
“What should we do then?” Tears welled up in Elaine’s eyes all of a sudden. “Don’t scare me, I’m really scared.”

Chapter 13
“Give… give me the stomach medicine.”
“Okay… okay, but where was the stomach medicine?”
“In the cabinet over there.”
Elaine was at a loss. Graham had already pointed out the spot, but she still couldn’t find the thing.
Lastly, it was the servant who couldn’t stand it anymore and got the medical kit for her
Elaine was rummaging around, “Graham, which one is the stomach medicine?”

Graham gritted his teeth. The cramping pain in his stomach made him a little out of it. He could only barely hold on and went to look for some
stomach medicine.
But didn’t find it.
He looked at the servant, “Where’s the stomach medicine I used to take?”
The servant shook her head, “I don’t know, Mrs. Dorrick was in charge of the medicine before. Half a month ago, Mrs. Dorrick handed it over to us. We couldn’t get the kind you were taking, so we switched to something else.”
Graham’s throat felt tight. Turns out, half a month ago, Melody already didn’t want him.
But he was so slow, he didn’t notice at all.
He took out the stomach medicine the servant had prepared and
swallowed it, but it didn’t work at all. The pain in his stomach was
churning like crazy. He couldn’t hold on anymore and collapsed hard onto the ground.

“Ah!” Elaine cried out, tears streaming down her face, “Didn’t I already take the medicine? Graham, what should I do? I’m really scared.”
Graham gritted his teeth, and a bloody taste rose in his throat.
He looked at the servant, “Call… emergency.”
The servant did as told.
Elaine’s tears dripped onto his hand as she sobbed, out of breath, “I’m sorry, it’s all my fault, why couldn’t I help at all?”
If it was like before, no matter how bad Graham felt, he would still force himself to comfort her.
But at that moment, he suddenly felt annoyed.
