Just a few months had passed, and Noah and Jasmin had aged a lot, their eyes were cloudy, revealing exhaustion.
When Shawn arrived, they didn’t feel like greeting him. They just casually nodded and continued to wipe the photo frames of Brielle and Hannah on their own.
“Father-in-law, mother-in-law, I have brought Hannah to accompany you. You probably haven’t eaten yet, I will go
and cook.”
Shawn looked indifferent, like a robot, as he went about caring for Noah and Jasmin in a methodical manner.
