Declan soon received my gift-a court summons.
I was suing him for adultery during marriage, destroying evidence, and conspiracy to commit murder.
In court, seeing the dozen Eastern lawyers behind me, Declan frowned slightly.
Probably didn’t expect any lawyers in this city would dare take his case.
But Declan showed no fear. Instead, he smiled at me helplessly.

Declan looked utterly guilty:
I didn’t mean to hide Vanessa from you. Mom forced her on me-I didn’t want her, but…”

But you always felt you only succeeded because of my family’s support. Always felt beneath me. While Vanessa was just some nobody-docile and obedient, etting you feel superior again.”

Declan’s head snapped up:
“How do you know? No… impossible…”
“Because I told her!”
