Chapter 15 Danger
Felton squinted while looking at Anastasia, his gaze
scrutinizing.
She smiled confidently, “It’s just a friendly reminder, given that
we used to be married after all. Feel free to believe me–or not.”
With that, she took out her sunglasses from her handbag to hide
her captivating eyes, opened her car door, and smiled brightly at
him before getting inside the car.
“Just remember to tell Raquel to stop with all these lame tricks.
“Keep her in check. Or I don’t promise what I’ll do.”
Then she got inside, closed the door, started the car, and
vanished from his sight.
Staring at her car coldly, Felton thought, “So, this is the real her.
“During those three years with me, she always acted so docile.
She’s so good at hiding.””
He stared meaningfully in the direction where she had left,
even though her car could no longer be seen.

Then he looked at Arnoldo expressionlessly. “Go back.”
Arnoldo was stunned and asked hesitantly, “A–Aren’t you going
to Regent Entertainment?”
“Do I have to repeat myself?”
Arnoldo shuddered and didn’t dare to ask anything anymore.
He started the car, and they soon left.
Little did they know Raquel, who was hiding in a corner not far
away from the parking lot, saw everything.
She clenched her fists so tightly that her nails dug into her
palms.
“Anastasia, you just wouldn’t go away, would you? Fine. You
insist on pestering Felty. Don’t blame me for what’s going to
happen.”
A cold glint flashed across her eyes as she picked up her phone
and dialed a familiar number. “Hello? I need a favor!”
Hobert had sent Anastasia the car, and she happened to run into
Felton in the parking lot.
She was so amazed by the new car’s performance that she didn’t
notice a silver van had been trailing her all along.
Chapter 15 Danger
Her gaze swept over the rearview mirror inadvertently. Upon
seeing the van, she frowned tightly, having a bad feeling.
Something about the van was off.
To verify her theory, she turned around and headed to the
suburbs. Sure enough, the van turned around, too.
She smiled wickedly, muttering, “It’s been a while since my last
racing.
“It’s such a perfect chance for me to test my new car out.”
Her eyes sparkled with excitement.
She concentrated, turned the steering wheel sharply, and executed a perfect drift in the suburbs.
Those in the van panicked at once. After all, the van’s engine
was like a toy compared to that of the luxury car.
“What should we do?” one of the thugs in the passenger seat
blurted out.
They didn’t expect that a woman could be this hard to deal with.
“Call Leo! Ask him to cut her off!”
Seeing that the van had come to a stop, Anastasia slammed the

accelerator and took a shortcut to leave.
After she was back on the main road again, she looked through
the rearview mirror, and that van was nowhere to be seen.
Only then did she breathe a sigh of relief.
She drove back to the residential complex.
She parked the car and got out. Just as she was about to reach
the elevator of the underground parking lot, a group of men
showed up out of nowhere and blocked her way.
They surrounded her, each looking ferocious.
Taking a step back, she stood in place, looking at them warily.
No trace of scary could be seen in her eyes at all. She tied her
hair into a high ponytail, took off her high heels, held them in
her hands, and looked around, her gaze fierce and sharp.
“Guys! Go get her!”
