The CEO’s private elevator didn’t stop on other floors, so it shot straight to the thirtieth.
Hannah found the office from memory and pushed the door open.

When she saw that there was only one woman reclining in the massive office chair and no one else around, she immediately snapped.
“So you’re the one who stopped Ethan from coming to me, huh?”
Stella sat up and looked toward the door. When she recognized the visitor, she nodded openly, “I did.”
That made Hannah even angrier. She stormed in and took a closer look at Stella–and got even more furious.
She was
s gorgeous. The kind of flawless beauty that looked perfect from far away, and even more stunning up close.
She wasn’t even wearing makeup. Her skin was smooth and full of collagen. She looked no older than seventeen or eighteen
And Ethan had the nerve to say this was his sister
Hannah took a deep breath, narrowing her eyes. “What right do you have to keep Ethan from me? You’re the other woman. you know that?”
Stella’s eyes widened slightly, and she actually laughed from disbelief. “What did you just call me?”
Hannah frowned. “Don’t play dumb! I’m warning you–back off now, or I won’t be so nice.”
Stella tilted her head, amused. “Oh? And what exactly are you planning to do to me?”
Hannah took off her sunglasses and walked straight up to the executive chair, trying to yank Stella out of it
But she didn’t budge.
For a moment. Hannah looked awkward just standing there. Then she crossed her arms and looked down at Stella. “You know who I am. You know how many fans I have. If I go after you publicly, you know what that’ll mean for you.”
Stella lifted her chin and blinked at her. “Oh, so you’re gonna sic your fans on me and start an online witch hunt?”
Hannah folded her arms tightly. “Exactly. So while I’m still feeling generous, do yourself a favor and walk away.” Stella leaned back in the chair. “Wow, I’m so scared.”
She didn’t look the slightest bit afraid..
She looked like someone who could use a collapsing sky as a blanket.
Hannah’s breathing grew sharper, “You really want to go head–to–head with me? You barely know Ethan–I’ve known him for a full year!”
Stella had been lounging, but now she sat up again. “Tin just curious–weren’t you in love with Lucas? What’s all this about,
then?”
The female lead’s feelings for the male lead were supposed to be rock–solid. So this was completely out of character for Hannah
Hannah’s face shifted. How does she know I like Lucasf
She slapped her hand on the desk and glared. “That’s none of your business. All you need to do is get away from Ethan!”
*Ethan and I have a bond you could never touch! He invested in my movie, he’d do anything for me! Even if you’ve already slept with him, he-

Stella stood up and slapped her across the face.
Hannah froze in place. Her cheek stung with searing heat, and tears sprang to her eyes on reflex.
“You.. You actually hit me?!”
Just then, the office door swung open again with a sharp sound.
Hannah whipped her head around–Ethan.
She immediately burst into louder sobs, clutching her face. “Ethan, she hit me! Sob sob sob sob sob…
The tall man walked in, dressed in a sleek black suit. That black bracelet was back on his wrist.
He walked toward them step by step, face dark with emotion.
A glimmer flickered in Hannah’s eyes. She limped toward Ethan in small, pitiful steps.
That little tramp dared lay a hand on her. She was finished.
She didn’t even need to fake the poor, bullied act this time. She had been hit.
Reaching Ethan’s side, Hannah grabbed his arm and leaned into him, voice trembling with tears.

“Ethan. I sent you so many messages and you didn’t answer. I was so worried something happened, I came to find you.”
Her assistant chimed in immediately. “That’s right, Mr. Ethan. Hannah’s leg injury was serious and she didn’t even go to the hospital. She rushed here just to see you. She was really worried!”
Hannah, eyes full of tears, kept going. “I came to your office and just asked where you were–and she slapped me! Now my leg hurts, and my face hurts even more. Sob sob sob
in her white dress, she looked so fragile and pitiful. The handprint on her cheek was clearly visible. She was the perfect picture of a woman wronged.
“Don’t twist the truth!”
