As soon as Tina hung up her call, she spotted Stella walking out of the classroom.
Dozens of eyes followed her.

The girl, with her casually tied high ponytail, moved calmly through the hallway. The tips of her hair bounced with each step. She looked so natural, so radiant–like she was born to shine.
A slightly chubby boy trailed behind her, cheeks bright red.
After seemingly working up a mountain of courage, he finally blurted, “Hey, beautiful, which school are you from? Can I add you on WhatsApp? I’m Quinton.”
Students nearby were stunned.
This guy was shooting his shot in public? No shame, no hesitation?
You knew she liked Jackson! Where was your mom! compass? Where was your self–respect? Where was your WhatsApp QR code?
Stella was just about to politely decline. She figured she’d never see him again anyway.
But before she could speak-
Quinton leaned in and whispered, “I can help keep an eye on Jackson for you. See if anyone’s causing trouble with him.”
Stella’s eyes lit up slightly. Sure, it felt a little wrong to use him–but he offered. And she could always send him a little red packet later as thanks.
“Okay,” she said, pulling up her WhatsApp QR code.
Quinton’s hands trembled as he tried not to drop his phone from excitement.
He’d never met anyone as stunning as Stella before–like she stepped straight out of an anime. He couldn’t look… Higgs
www.
He felt like a girl like her could open her front camera when she was sad and cheer herself up just by looking at it.
Unlike him–whenever he opened his front camera, all he saw was frustration.
But he wasn’t a simp. He was a soldier of pure love!
Nearby, Tina frowned slightly as she watched.
She’d already heard about Stella and Lucas from Ethan.
He told her not to bring up Lucas around Stella, in case it made her upset
She’d always wondered why Stella was suddenly digging into Lucas’s little brother.
Now it was clear–she was trying to get to Lucas through his sibling
After all,
Lucas
cas was a huge star now, unreachable to most people.
First loves really did leave the deepest scars.
Tina glanced at the whispering students saying Stella liked Jackson and smiled to herself.
They were stuck in layer one. She was already on layer two,
When Stella walked over, Tina asked, “Wanna keep walking around the school?”
Stella shook her head. “Nali, let’s head back.”
She now had two new WhatsApp contacts.

Jackson’s profile pic showed him holding a basketball–youthful and confident.
Quinton’s was an adorable Elmo.
Elmo sent a message right away: “Hi! I’m Quinton. What’s your name?”
Stella replied with her name, then transferred him 1.000 dollars.
“Please help keep an eye on Jackson. Especially if he gets into any conflicts!”
Quinton’s eyes nearly popped out of his head.
Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap! This goddess is so generous!
He wasn’t just a pure love warrior anymore–he was her most loyal servant!
“Got it! I’ll keep a close watch on him!”
Just as Stella was leaving the school, she paused and typed another message:
“Oh, and does your school have any students in senior year who are known as ‘school bullies? If so, send me a pic.
Might as well try that route too–who knew, she might get lucky.
Quinton replied quickly: “Not that I know of, but I’ll ask around!”
Stella. Thanks!”
Quinton: “No need to thank me. It’s my duty, my queen!
Stella laughed. “Hahaha! The bell’s ringing. Go focus in class!”
Quinton instantly put his phone away, sat up straight with both hands on his desk like a perfect student.
Stella told him to focus–so he had to focus!
Outside the school, she got into the car.

Tina asked, “Wanna go anywhere fun? I can drop you off. I probably won’t be able to stay with you, though–the company’s having a group–wide meeting today, and I.. I really want to attend.”
The special assistant position was super competitive. She couldn’t afford to thiss out on work.
Sure, taking care of Stella would make the CEO happy–but she still wanted to prove herself on her own merit.
The call she took earlier was from the secretary, asking where she was and why she wasn’t attending such an important. meeting.
Stella could tell she’d already taken up a lot of Tina’s work time and smiled. “I’ll just come with you to the company. I’ve never been to Ethan’s office.”
She could see it–Tina was the type who genuinely loved her job.
The ride from No.4 High to the Starlight Group headquarters didn’t take long–just over half an hour.
When Stella got out of the car, she looked up at the massive skyscraper in front of her. The glass façade shimmered under- the sunlight
At the top of the building, the golden letters “Starlight Group” sparkled brightly
For the first time, Stella actually felt like–okay, maybe Ethan really is a proper CEO
Back in the day, their family company had only rented a five–story office in a business park
Inside the grand lobby, the receptionist greeted Tina warmly. “Good morning. Tina.”

Tina nodded with her usual cool expression.
The receptionist glanced at Stella–such a pretty, polished girl. “And this is?”
Tina replied calmly, “Mr. Ethan’s family.”
A very clever choice of words. If she said “sister,” no one would believe it
But “family” clearly conveyed importance without inviting unnecessary questions.
The receptionist’s attitude shifted immediately–next time, this girl would be welcomed without hesitation.
Stella was impressed by Tina’s quick thinking-
As they passed through the lobby, people respectfully greeted Tina one after another.
In the exclusive VIP elevator that led to the CEO’s office, Stella’s eyes sparkled.
Tina, you’re amazing”
Tina shook her head instinctively. “Not really.”

Stella looked at her seriously. “You’re the CEO’s special assistant. That’s basically equivalent to a general manager in company rank–and you’re only in your twenties. That’s incredible. You should be proud of yourself!”
Many people had complimented Tina before, but she’d never felt it was enough.
She’d been raised under constant pressure and criticism from her family. She was used to it.
But when she saw the sincerity in Stella’s bright, clear eyes, something stirred inside her. She smiled. “Yeah.. I’m amazing.”
It was the first time she’d said it out loud–and honestly?
It felt.. kind of great.
Stella grinned. “There you go. Now repeat after me–I’m a queen, I shine with confidence! Anyone who talks crap gets zapped!
Tina’s mouth twitched, “Maybe not that far.”
The
group meeting was held once a month, with the entire management team participating.

It had already started, and Tina needed to rush over. “I’ll take you to Mr. Ethan’s office to rest first.”
But Stella grabbed her arm. “Tina, can I sit in the back and listen to the meeting? I’ve never seen a big corporate meeting before
Mostly, she just wanted to see what Ethan looked like when he was in CEO mode.
Her curiosity was killing her.
Technically, non–staff weren’t allowed in the boardroom.
But the CEO’s sister didn’t count as “non–stall“,”
And more importantly… Tina just couldn’t say no to Stella.
The cool, porcelain–doll girl was blinking those glittering eyes at her–how could anyone resist?
Alright. You can slip in through the back. Sit quietly.”
The large conference room door at the rear creaked open.

Chapter 15 Special Attention
A slim figure quietly ducked in. picked an empty seat, and peeked her head out.
The room was enormous, with a long table in the center packed with executives.
The rest those of lower rank–sat on single chairs scattered around the perimeter.
There must’ve been over a hundred people in total.
At the head of the table sat a sharp–featured man in a black suit, radiating cold authority. The black bracelet on his wrist added a mysterious edge.
One middle–aged executive with a receding hairline was currently presenting.
Ethan listened in silence, expression unreadable. Occasionally, he’d glance up–his eyes sharp, oppressive.
When he finally spoke, his voice was cool and precise, pointing out the issue instantly.
The balding exec nodded repeatedly. “Understood. Understood.”
Stella couldn’t help but cover her mouth, a grin tugging at her lips.
Okay, fine. Ethan really did have that CEO vibe.
He was totally pulling it off.
Even in high–stakes meetings, there were always people slacking off.
Stella hadn’t been sitting long when she noticed two guys on her row leaning in, whispering.
She tilted slightly closer out of boredom, cars perked.
“Last time, I heard the CEO walked out mid–meeting. Think he’ll do that again today?”
That was for Hannah. He cleared out an entire mall just to take her shopping”
“Lucky girl.. Can I star in her life story for two episodes, please?”
Stella’s brow furrowed.
So the day the mall was cleared out, Ethan left in the middle of an executive meeting?
Shopping couldn’t wait until the meeting ended?
Her fist clenched
And then-
From the front of the room came a sudden sound,
Her phone’s Special Attention ringtone.
