Chapter 18
The tourism industry in the mountain village was officially launched, and Anna invited travel bloggers and food bloggers to come to the village for check–ins.
Most of the houses in the village still maintain their original structure, only reinforcing the walls. Some have been turned into homestays, while others have been turned into restaurants.
The whole village was renovated in combination with the local beautiful scenery, with the construction of multiple viewing platforms to restore the ancient grandeur. It also allowed grandmothers to teach tourists intangible cultural heritage weaving and printing.
The first group of bloggers who came here for the experience all felt very good, staying here for two or three days, relaxing and comfortable.
Wave after wave of online promotion followed, and the leisure tours in the village gradually gained popularity.
The second group to arrive here was a team of employees from a well- known company, who were on their year–end trip. Each person had a great experience.
Soon, some tour groups automatically approached us for cooperation, and more and more individual travelers came to visit.
The village’s carrying capacity is limited, so it has started implementing a real–name reservation system.
The couples who were working outside heard the news and returned to the village one after another, running their own small shops with the

elderly.
Education and healthcare were also established, and everyone in the village was very happy.
“Great, your efforts have paid off. Mr. Bradford stood side by side with Anna by the window, watching the tourists passing by outside, he sincerely praised.”
“Everyone has contributed, and I feel good too, Anna smiled
knowingly, then quickly composed herself, feeling a bit reluctant. “We should go now, to the next place that needs us.
Anna wanted to use her own strength to help more people, so that more children could go to school, and the elderly could have someone to rely
- on.
“Alright, let’s go, Mr. Bradford said with a slight smile. There had been a subtle shift in his relationship with Anna, at least she was no longer trying to push him away.”
The day before Anna left, Gabriel came.
Alina led him in, reminding Anna with a cautious look, “Sweetie, this time he’s not a good person. Stay away from him, the old lady is
outside, call me if you need anything.”
Anna gave a faint smile and looked at Gabriel standing at the door.
When they met again, she was calmer than he had imagined, as if meeting a stranger.
It had been almost two years since they last saw each other, and Gabriel had changed a lot. He had lost weight, with a tired and haggard look on his face that he couldn’t hide. The brightness in his eyes was gone, and

he seemed to be immersed in darkness.
He was no longer the man who sparkled, gentle as water, and made her heart flutter with just one glance.
“Long time no see, Mr. Hayes, Anna said softly, her tone devoid of any inflection.”
Gabriel’s eyes reddened in an instant, and Anna’s distant demeanor pierced his heart.
He had imagined countless times the scene of their reunion, he had thought she would cry, would make a scene, would hysterically demand why he had lied to her…
I just didn’t expect her to be so indifferent.
It’s as if she had never loved him.
“Wife… don’t treat me like this, he said, his voice sounding as if it were tearing apart.”
“Mr. Hayes, we were never married. I am not your wife, it’s over between us long ago. I don’t want to hear anything you have to say, Anna interrupted him.”
He shook his head desperately, took a big step forward, and reached out to hug Anna.
“No, you were my wife, I loved you.”
Anna took a step back and raised her hand, then slapped him. “Mr. Hayes, please behave yourself!”
