Chapter 53
Erwina shook her head and said, “He’s so busy, how would he ever notice something this small.”
Ayla didn’t say anything.
What Erwina didn’t know was, the very busy Commander Mullen had just not only watched her finish cooking, but also watched her go back to the bedroom and unbutton her shirt…
After taking a bath, the exhausted Erwina quickly fell asleep.
Tomorrow, there was a tough battle to fight.
***
The morning light shone into the silver–gray bedroom, Erwina rubbed her eyes after waking up. She had stayed here a few times, but still wasn’t really used to it.
How should I put it, it wasn’t just the bedroom decor, the whole mansion
felt cold.
The color scheme was either gray, or white, or black.
Repressed, cold, silent, lonely.
Ayla said thoughtfully, “Master, I’ve already enabled this permission. Wherever you want to redecorate, just leave it to me.”
“Forget it.”

Commander Mullen was willing to give her all the access, that was his
sincerity.
If she totally remodeled someone else’s house… tsk tsk, Commander Mullen probably would’ve been so mad he’d want a divorce.
Forget it, forget it, for now the two of them got along pretty well, and Erwina didn’t want to piss off this big shot.
She had already left some of her medical supplies and clothes here, and picked a black evening dress from them.
)
The evening dress was black, but it had little rhinestones on it. The hem. was a mermaid style, and with high heels, the skin–friendly fabric fit the elegant curves really well.
She wore rare pearl earrings on her ears, and with Erwina’s delicate, pretty face, the beauty in the mirror was just impossible to look away from.
Victor kept an eye on what was happening at the mansion, and when he saw this, he just took a photo on his own!
When Gustav got starship ready for the last jump, Victor happily pulled up the photo and showed it off to Gustav like it was a treasure.
“Master, master, did you see if Mrs. Mullen looked pretty today?!”
Gustav, in a dark blue military uniform, had sharp facial features and still looked cold and distant.
He didn’t answer Victor, but took off his white gloves and tapped the photo twice.
Saved.

Victor: ”
Alright, even though my master was a bit uptight, at least he was trying to act more like a normal person.
I hoped my owner could try harder so Mrs. Mullen could stay home longer.
This way it didn’t have to secretly watch Mrs. Mullen cook, it could drool openly.
The Schrader Restaurant was about to open, ads were already out, the promotion was on point, and of course, guests flocked in.
And today Derrick and Ethan didn’t have to worry about anything. They just needed to sit at the main table and drink tea and chat with a few important people.
An old man with mostly green hair but white at the temples, wearing a traditional Tang suit, looked at Erwina, who was hosting the opening ceremony not far away.
He said in amazement, “Sir Schrader, your granddaughter is pretty good, she could already take on big responsibilities.”
Derrick gave a humble smile, “She still had a long way to go and there. was still a lot she needed to learn.”
“How old was she this year?”
“Already twenty, just got married not long ago, now studying at Empire. University.”
The old man with green hair shook his head, “Oh, that’s a bit of a shame.

By the way, my grandson also studied at Empire University. It would’ve been nice if he had met her earlier.”
Other people also started to praise Erwina one by one.
Young, pretty, smart, and handled things steadily.
Ethan remembered how Meg had red eyes and was really down today, and he felt pretty bad about it.
He stood up and said, “You guys keep chatting, I’ll go check the kitchen.”
“Ethan, are you worried about your daughter? Hey, relax, if my granddaughter turned out this great, I’d wake up laughing from my dreams.”
A few people smiled kindly.
Ethan gave a dry laugh and got up to leave.
Derrick looked at him and didn’t say anything.
At that moment, one of them spoke to Derrick in a low voice, “Sir” Schrader, I also went to Ms. Schrader’s wedding last time, that groom…”
Someone finally brought up this gossip, and everyone perked up their ears to listen.
Although Commander Mullen didn’t make it public, a few people present had attended the last wedding held by the Schrader family, and they had all seen what that stand–in groom looked like!
It was just like when Top Commander later took off his mask in front of the media!
