Chapter 5 Missing
Meanwhile, the central system Falcón almost crashed when it
received the marriage application.
Due to the applicants‘ special status, it couldn’t make an
immediate decision.
So it had no choice but to send the application to the highest-
ranking man in the United Empire of Planets.
Leland Mullen, dressed in a dark blue shirt and black trousers,
was sitting in his study with a furrowed brow.
He, usually so refined, was now barely suppressing his fury.
He had every reason to be furious.
The Top Commander, Gustav Mullen, who had just returned
victorious from a fierce battle against the Zerg on the edge of
space but was injured, had suddenly vanished.
Gustav wasn’t just the war hero of their empire; he was also
Leland’s uncle!
If it weren’t for his sudden bout of rut, he wouldn’t have been
injured.
He had defeated the Zerg despite his injuries, but now he had gone missing on his way back!
Leland’s voice was cold as he barked orders to the person on the
other end of the video call. “Track down the last signal from Gustav’s aircraft. Find him at all costs! And keep this under
wraps. No word of this gets out!”

Gustav was in no state to be found by the wrong people. The
consequences would be dire.

After ending the call, Leland rubbed his temples tiredly.
Gustav had spent years in a growth pod because of his unique
condition. He didn’t get better until Leland was born.
As a result, he looked around the same age as Leland.
They weren’t just uncle and nephew; they were like brothers,
with a bond stronger than most.
Leland was wracked with guilt. Knowing that Gustav was
having his rut episode, he should have stopped him and let
someone else handle the Zerg’s invasion.
Just then, an electronic voice belonging to an AI spoke up.
“Your Majesty, Falcon has submitted a request for your
decision.”
Leland frowned. “What kind of request?”
“A marriage application.”
“It can’t even handle a marriage application?! Tell it to follow the
rules! If even that’s beyond it, I’ll have another AI take its place!”
“Got it.”

Gustav’s aircraft in District III, and near the debris, they found a
shattered mask.
It was probably the silver mask that Gustav usually wore.
Leland immediately ordered the entire District III to be locked
down and searched meticulously, and no one was allowed to
leave without permission.

Meanwhile, his Smart PC, Alvin, patched through to the central
system Falcon.
It said smugly, “His Majesty said to stick to the rules. If you can’t
even do that, he’ll think about letting me take over from you.”
Every AI in the United Empire of Planets would kill to replace
Falcon as the central system.
Falcon sneered, “Yeah, right! Even if I step down, it won’t be
your turn!”
With that, it cut off the call with Alvin in a huff, glanced at the
marriage application, and then, with a decisive snap, approved
it!
It was just doing its job. The applicants fully met the conditions
for marriage.
As for anything else, that was none of its business. After all, it
was a system that only followed the rules!
At the same time, Erwina, still in the lounge, saw the message on
her starphone, and her eyes lit up. “It’s approved!”
Overjoyed, she turned and hugged Gus.
Gus‘ fluffy ears twitched, and then he slowly wrapped his arms
around Erwina’s waist.
Just then, the door swung open. Elaine rushed in and said
anxiously, “Wina, it’s already 11. Your dad said maybe we
should cancel..”
Seeing the two hugging, she was stunned.
