In the VIP lounge, Rosalie threw herself into Adrian’s arms. Lifting her alluring face, she kissed him.
“Honey, my Adrian, I missed you so much. Please, just kiss me, just one minute.”
Adrian wrapped an arm around her waist, the other cupping the back of her head, responding passionately. The room’s temperature rose sharply. After a long while, Rosalie, flushed, pushed Adrian away. Her breathing was ragged.“It’s time to give you back to Jasmine.”
“Are you sure?” Adrian’s eyes were clouded with desire. He traced Rosalie’s lips with his fingertip.
Rosalie lowered her gaze.“I don’t want you back to her, but I have to. I don’t want Jasmine to be upset. Because of me, she won’t even answer your calls. I can wait, like always. Come find me after you deal with Jasmine.”
“Your thoughtfulness breaks my heart. I hate to leave you too. Be good. Listen to me. Don’t think about anyone else right now. Just enjoy the pleasure I give you.” Adrian kissed her lips, his kisses trailing down her neck and chest.
A soft moan escaped Rosalie’s lips. Her nails dug into Adrian’s back.“Adrian, please don’t… I can’t take it…”
You slut, you like that, huh?”
The intimate scene plunged Jasmine into an icy abyss.
She bit her hand hard to prevent herself from crying out. She thought the pain would be gone, but witnessing this scene was still excruciating.
Adrian had betrayed her completely, body and soul.
A burning sensation in her stomach turned to nausea. She ran to the bathroom, vomiting violently, a dull ache spreading through her lower
abdomen.
She gently caressed her belly, tears blurring her vision.*Baby, I’m so sorry. You’ve seen your father at his worst. Forgive your mother for not bringing you into this world.*
Jasmine, pale and unsteady, emerged from the bathroom. The deck was lively, but Adrian and Rosalie were nowhere to be seen.
The fireworks display ended, and Adrian and Rosalie

A smile returned to Rosalie’s face. As she turned to leave, a Her foot caught on a chair, and she cried out, falling to the ground. She clutched her abdomen in pain. “It hurts so much.”
Everyone was startled. Those nearby rushed to help her up. Seeing blood staining her skirt, they gasped.
They looked to Adrian, and Jasmine instinctively looked at him too.
His expression remained unchanged. Seeing Jasmine look at him, he smiled gently, taking her hand, saying casually to the others, “Take her to the hospital. I’ll be with my treasure. The show haven’t finished yet.”
Everyone escorted Rosalie off the boat. Adrian held Jasmine’s hand throughout the rest of the band’s performance.
If she hadn’t already known their relationship, she would have been completely fooled by his act.

Jasmine’s heart grew colder, the pain in her lower abdomen intensifying.
Just as she was about to say she wanted to go home, Adrian’s phone rang.
“Mr. Thorne, you rushed home this morning, but the contract issue hasn’t been resolved. Are you free to come to the company?” Adrian’s
assistant’s voice was urgent.
Adrian frowned, silent for a few seconds before hanging up. Looking at Jasmine, a touch of guilt flickered in his eyes.“Sorry babe, I have to go now. The business issue. Wait here, and I’ll send the driver to pick you up, alright?”
Jasmine sneered inwardly.“Okay, go ahead.”

Adrian stood up, going to kiss her forehead, but she feigned a cough, turning her head.
Adrian didn’t have time to think, leaving hurriedly.
Jasmine knew he was going to the hospital. The pain in her heart had lessened.
After half an hour, the driver still hadn’t arrived.
A sharp pain shot through her abdomen, doubling her over. She glanced at the shattered pieces of a wine glass on the floor, a bizarre thought entering her mind.
Rosalie had poisoned her drink.
With difficulty, Jasmine stood up, gathering the fragments of the glass with the remaining liquid.
The pain intensified, spreading from her stomach to her lower abdomen. She could feel a force tearing at her abdomen, a warm flow seeping
out.
She instinctively dialed Adrian’s number.
The driver’s phone was also unreachable.
