Chapter 15
Samuel was released from prison.
His phone was returned, and he then realized that he had missed several hundred calls and messages, all from Nadya.
Since he went missing, Nadya’s inquiries and doubts kept coming one after another.
Samuel looked through Nadya’s anxious words expressionlessly, picturing her helpless and lonely in his mind.
If it were in the past, he would have definitely been heartbroken long ago, wishing he could fly to Nadya’s side immediately, be a hero descending from the sky, and then enjoy Nadya’s admiration for him…
But now, he only felt extremely exhausted.
The longing in his heart to travel the world with Nadya after faking his death seemed to have completely disappeared.
And at this moment, he actually felt for the first time that, as vast as the sky and earth were, there seemed to be nowhere for him to go.
His roots seemed to have been broken….
Suddenly, Samuel remembered that before he “died“, Jenny had given. him an envelope.
He knew that Jenny liked to write love letters and diaries. At this crucial moment before his “death“, what she gave him must have been all her admiration and affection for him over the years.
Perhaps he came to find Jenny with these things, she must have been stirred up with love in her heart.
Thinking. Samuel couldn’t wait to go home and find that envelope.
Samuel was lost in thought, holding his phone, when Nadya’s call came in again.
He answered the phone, but didn’t know what to say.
Listening to Nadya’s complaints, Samuel lit a cigarette and said, “Nadya, I am going back to the Jaures family to restore my identity. Your dream, you go and achieve it yourself.”
After saying that, he hung up the phone without waiting for Nadya’s reaction and boarded the plane back to California.
He wanted to find the “love letter” that Jenny had left for him.

For several days in a row, Jenny kept frowning.
Riley looked at her worried look, feeling sad for several days without going home from the company.
He knew that Jenny had liked Samuel for a long time, and it was too difficult for him to expect her to quickly move on from her past and openly accept another relationship.
He could give her time, however long it took.
He didn’t want to go back home and force her to look him in the eye.
As for Jenny, she did have something on her mind, but it had nothing to do with Samucl.
Chapter 15
These days, the assessment day that she had arranged with the band manager was approaching, but her injury had not yet healed.
Contacted many doctors, all said that her right hand function could not be restored to what it was before.
Jenny didn’t realize that her worried look had been completely misinterpreted by Riley.
While Riley did not come home, she instead confirmed her previous suspicion in her heart, believing that Riley had married her just to appease his family.
She thought to herself, luckily, she hadn’t impulsively asked Riley if he had a crush on her before, otherwise she would have been so embarrassed!
Jenny was practicing the piano when she suddenly realized that she had thought of Riley for the fifth time that day.
In the mirror, her face was still slightly flushed.
She couldn’t help but get angry with herself: “Jenny! Pull yourself together!”
Samuel has learned his lesson, love cannot be forced.
She had seen too many marriages between wealthy families, just like hers and Riley’s.
In this kind of relationship, as long as one does not put in genuine effort, they can coexist peacefully.
She would not repeat the same mistakes again.
“Mrs. Jensen…”
Chapter 15
Someone knocked on the door of the music room.
It was the maid who brought the roses and fruits.
These days, although Riley hasn’t come back, there are fresh flowers and fruits delivered by air every day.
In this respect, Riley’s superficial skills were quite good.
Jenny was eating cherries flown in from Chile and strawberries from Mount Fuji when she suddenly had the idea to call Riley.
“Hello…”
Only the two of them, Jenny couldn’t call out “husband“.
But on the other end of the phone, Riley called out “wife” quite naturally.
Maybe there is someone else over there, so he has to show more affectionate. Jenny thought so and felt a little relieved in her heart.
“Mr. Jensen, I had something I wanted to ask for your help with.”
She went to several hospitals to get checked, and the doctors all said that only conservative treatment could be provided, and there was no guarantee that she could fully recover to her previous state.
But she was not willing to give up, thinking that the Jensen family in Chicago had great influence, and maybe they could hire Cullen Wallace, who preferred traditional medicine and was not easily persuaded to come out of retirement.
After she told Riley about the situation, there was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone.
Jenny thought he was the one feeling awkward and was about to say forget it.
Riley’s voice came through, his tone somewhat unexpected: “So you’ve been
upset these past few days because of this “pected: “So you’ve
“Of course, what else could it be for?”
Jenny felt puzzled, “Why am I the one who needs to see a doctor, but you seem so happy?”
Riley busily said, “No, no, absolutely not. What I mean is, I guarantee to complete the task!”
With a confident tone, Jenny felt hopeful as she said, “Thank you for
that.”
“Wife, I am not afraid of trouble, I am just afraid that you won’t trouble me…”
Jenny was stunned again.
On the phone, Riley seemed to be in a good mood. He said, “By the way, I’m going home to sleep tonight. Suddenly, the company’s project is not busy again.”
After he finished speaking, he hung up the phone, leaving Jenny puzzled. This doesn’t make any sense!
