“I told you all before that I saw this woman kissing David at the entrance to the neighborhood, but nobody believed me!”
“Quiet, lower your voice. Don’t let Kelly hear!”
When Kelly noticed the group gathered around the bed, she shouted in fear, “Everyone, get out now!”
Observing the scene, I couldn’t resist smiling and thought, “I definitely need to leave a positive review for the glue seller.”
Mary fell to the floor, crying out, “This is a catastrophe! What kind of nightmare is happening? My poor son!”
She then stormed out, yelling at me, “Amy, was this your doing? My son made a mistake that all men make. How could you use glue to harm him?”
Her shouting startled the baby in the crib, who began to cry.
“Go ahead and cry! You little jinx wrecked my family, and you still dare to cry! Believe it or not, I’ll strangle you!”
I put on a dramatic show, crying out, “Oh no, I want a divorce! I can’t continue living like this!”
Ultimately, it was Henry Sumbrea who calmly arranged for someone to carry David and Kelly and take them to the hospital.
Mary cried the whole way, endlessly lamenting her tough situation.
She even clutched Henry’s arm, pleading, “Henry, I’m begging you on my knees. Please save my son’s dignity!”

When they flagged down a cab and discovered the driver wanted ten dollars, Mary dropped to the ground, rolling around and exclaiming, “You heartless driver! It’s such a short trip to the hospital, yet you charge ten dollars! People like you will face consequences!”
She added, “Henry, should we wait? The last time I took a cab to the hospital, it was only five dollars.”
Upon witnessing this, the driver sped off, leaving everyone around us staring in our direction.
David was furious.
“Mom, stop causing a commotion! Go after that driver right now! If my coworkers see me like this, I’m doomed!”
The onlookers exchanged excited whispers, with some even live- streaming the event on their phones.
It took two hours before David and Kelly were finally brought to the hospital.
A few young nurses blushed at the sight of the two of them stuck together.
Given the urgency of their situation, they were quickly moved queue and into the operating room.
Soon after, the doctor emerged with troubling news.
