Noticing how fast I finished my drink, David’s expression changed slightly, and he instinctively took my hand.
However, Kelly suddenly gasped, covered her mouth, and asked, “Celine, what’s on your hand?”

Her voice was laced with insincere regret, but her eyes sparkled with satisfaction.

As soon as I swung open the storage room door, I saw my wedding photo with David, but only my face in the picture had been viciously scratched

Standing behind me, Kelly teased, “Celine, curious who did this?”

Fury coursed through me, and I clenched my hands before finally lifting my arm to hit her.
“Don’t touch Kelly!” Just as I was about to strike, Owen rushed in and forcefully shoved me.
Taken by surprise, I stumbled into a heap of junk, a sharp pain shooting through the back of my head.
