Evelyn stood there in shock.
In that moment, she didn’t know if she was more angry or sadder.
She only heard her own cold questioning. “Do you have to protect her like this?”
In an instant, the conference room became terrifyingly silent.
Martin felt the various gazes of the directors and glanced deeply at Evelyn. Finally, he coldly said, “Your bank statement shows that you transferred 500,000 dollars to your family a year ago. Where did this money come from?”
