Chapter 7
When Nathan’s mother slapped him, Samuel came over.
But I stopped it with my eyes.
I don’t want to get involved with the Hayes family and our matters anymore.
In the car, Samuel had a calm face, he pulled my wrist and silently disinfected and applied medicine to it.
After finishing, he placed my hand aside, remained silent, and stared ahead.
I knew that he was angry.
I approached with a smile on my face, reached out and tugged on Samuel’s sleeve.
“Are you angry?
He still didn’t speak.
I sighed and took hold of his hand.
“I just didn’t want everything to rely on you.”
On the first day when I was sent overseas by the Hayes family, the overseas virus broke out, and unfortunately, I was infected.
Back then, I didn’t have a single penny on me.
I sold everything valuable I had on me and rented a dilapidated house that could only fit a single bed.
Struggling with the high heat and feeling sore all over, I washed dishes and plates. I worked five jobs in a day and almost fainted a few times in front of the sink. It was Samuel who appeared and helped me
That was my first time going abroad.
I was not familiar with anything
Everything relied on him.
At first, I thought he was sent by my brother to help me, but later I realized
He was only for himself.
His intentions were clear to me.
When I was young, there was also a touch of stubbornness in my bones.
The Hayes family did not contact me, and I did not reach out to them either.
They sent me overseas, and I was able to live well on my own there..
After learning about Samuel’s intentions, I distanced myself from him,
I no longer accepted his kindness.
In the face of reality, having integrity is not worth mentioning
I was alone overseas, not a local, and being discriminated against Others could get half of the salary, but I couldn’t even get half.
I didn’t do anything wrong, and yet I had to endure being beaten
When lite could no longer go on.
I couldn’t imagine how I could have a “good” lite again.
So, I accepted Samuel.

Even climbed onto his bed.
I used to think that he was just a passing fancy for me, and that he would quickly abandon me once he got what he wanted.
After all, I couldn’t imagine how someone like him could be interested in me, an orphan.
But… he took care of me for a whole three e years.
I didn’t want to come back from overseas, but he arranged a school for me there and encouraged me to continue my studies.
I fell in love with scientific research, and he invested in a laboratory for me to conduct my studies.
I didn’t like being alone, so he opened a company overseas to be with me.
Three whole years.
During this time, the Hayes family did not contact me at all.
