Chapter 3
I spent the entire night packing, filling four large boxes. As soon as dawn broke, I had the omega servants help carry the boxes to the backyard.
I threw the first item into the incinerator–a suit I had personally designed for Roman
As the flames rose, I threw everything related to Ronan into the fire, piece by piece
As the last wedding photo burned away, I seemed to see that young male wolf who had been hit by a car while saving me, disappearing with the billowing black smoke.
The smoke choked me so much I could barely keep my eyes open. I covered my mouth and nose, coughing violently until tears streamed down my face.
But my mood was lighter than ever before. The stone that had been pressing on my chest was gone.
Everything I had once treasured could be burned away so easily.
It turned out that letting go of someone who didn’t love you was this simple.[]
I wiped away my tears, turned around, and went back to my room for a hot hath before falling into a deep sleep in my pajamas
I didn’t wake up until evening, instinctively reaching for my phone and opening my conversation with Ronan

I had always thought it was because Ronan was naturally aloof and wouldn’t show favoritism toward me in public
It turned out he wasn’t aloof–he just only showed favoritism toward Wendy
How had I been so blind to think Ronan loved me?

“No! I want her to cook!” Wendy started throwing a tantrum again, tossing the new clothes she was holding [
Ronan was particularly patient with her, pulling her close and coaxing gently, “Alright, she’ll cook What do you want to eat?”
“I want seafood.”
Konan looked at me. “Prepare seafood. If you don’t know how, have the omega servants teach you.“]
I said nothing and went into the latchen.]
Ronan and Wendy
Wendy chatted and laughed in the living room, seemingly discussing wedding dresses and mating ceremony styles.]]
I made twelve different seafood dishes, arranged them properly, and had an omega servant call Ronan and Wendy while I stood by the kitchen island, ladling myself a bowl of soup.
Wendy walked over, suddenly quickening her pace and deliberately slamming into my shoulder, Her wolf tail even viciously wrapped around my calf before releasing, directly throwing off my balance
My hand shook, and I fell to one side. I couldn’t hold the ladle steady, and hot soup spilled onto my hand, instantly burning is red
“Wendy, are you burned?” Ronan’s urgent voice came from nearby as he swept Wendy into his arma
“I’m fine. I didn’t mean to bump into Miss Judith. Wendy faigned panic, but her eyes couldn’t hide her smugness.
I looked at my hand, burned red and blistering, then at Ronan, who had immediately rushed to Wendy’s side in concern. I smiled sarcastically.
Love and the lack of it were so obvious. Fortunately, I didn’t love him anymore either.
Isently got up to tend to my wound
When I returned to the dining room, the table was a mess, with no food left for me.
My wolf curled up in a corner of my heart, not even having the strength to complain. She hung her head listlessly, saying nothing
Since agreeing to help Ronan win over Wendy, she hadn’t spoken to me in a long time. Perhaps she was angry with me? Or heartbroken over the feelings she had once given in vain?]
I didn’t give it another glance, drank a glass of warm milk and went back to my room
