“Dale,” I said calmly, “did you just call me a heartless CEO? Then why don’t you tell everyone what exactly I did that was so heartless?”
Clearly caught off guard, she stammered, “You… you kicked us out of the house… now, we had nowhere to go…“)
“And!” Her voice suddenly turned shrill as she remembered something. “I finally got a job, and you made one phone call and had me fired! If that’s not heartless, what is?”
“Oh?” I let out a cold laugh. “You mean the house you illegally took over? I simply removed people who had no right to be there. And let’s not forget. Who pushed me that day? Who almost caused me to lose my baby?“}
At that, the mood among the employees watching began to shift.
Pushing a pregnant woman was a serious matter.
Dale started to panic. “I–I didn’t mean to… it wasn’t on purpose…”
“No?” I pulled up the audio recording on my phone. “Then let’s all listen to this.”
From the speaker came Dale’s angry voice. “You filthy woman! Why are you still living in my house? I’m going to work for a top company one day, and you’re just a waddling pregnant woman holding up a job you can’t even do!“> Gasps rippled through the crowd.
“Oh my god… she actually said that to Miss Harris?”
“So, she’s not a victim. She’s the one who started all this!”
Dale’s face went pale as th

I looked her straight in the eye and said with a cold smile, “You said I’d get kicked out of the company. Now look at you. You can’t even get in.”
“And about that job you lost?” I paused. “I gave it to you in the first place. So why shouldn’t I take it back?“}
Then I turned to the crowd. “But since everyone’s so curious why she couldn’t get a job for so long, let me show you something.“)

I held up a document and continued, “This is I
Everyone leaned in, nodding.
Obidiently catering to their request, I read aloud, “Dale Simmons. Age: 22. Graduated from a third–rate university. Failed seven subjects during college, barely passed after multiple retakes. Fired from her internship for slacking off. Faked her recommendation letter. Her English certificate was Photoshopped. Her computer proficiency certificate was also fake.“}
The employees gasped again.”
“Wow… how shameless can someone be?“D
“Faking her résumé and still having the nerve to throw a fit?”
“She totally deserves to be blacklisted.“}
Dale tried to flee the scene, but the security guards stepped in and blocked her path.
“Miss Harris, how would you like to proceed?” one guard asked.§
I glanced at Dale’s disheveled figure and felt no pity at all. “Call the police. She’s disturbing public order and slandering me. Let them handle it.”
As they dragged her out, she screamed at the top of her lungs, “This isn’t over! You rich people think you can bully the poor? I won’t let you get away with this!”
I stared at her pathetic figure as she was dragged away, feeling nothing but disgust.
Some people never reflect on their own actions. They just blame the world.
After Dale was detained for causing a public disturbance and slandering my name, I finally had a Peaceful days.
One afternoon, my assistant knocked on my office door, looking uneasy. “Miss Harris… Mr. Simmons and his mother are at the front desk. They said they must see you.”
I frowned slightly, then nodded. “Let them up. It’s time to end this anyway.”{
A few minutes later, Colin and his mother walked into my office. Both looked completely worn down. The arrogance had vanished from his mother’s face, replaced by pleading and fear.
