Chapter 6
At night, Victor drove to the villa
Since marrying him, Giselle has moved her studio to a separate building in the estate.
Giselle showed a unique aesthetic for art from a young age and made a name for herself in the field of sculpture during college.
Everyone thought she was a rising star, and later, it turned out to be true.
After marriage, Giselle’s works lacked the spirituality they once had.
Her mentor had also advised her, urging her to leave her current state and regain the feelings and mindset she had in the past
Later on, Giselle rarely picked up the sculpting life again.
Victor pushed open the door of Giselle’s studio,
When be saw the vivid heart on the workbench, he couldn’t help but be amazed.
The heart had almost no intact parts, riddled with countless wounds.
When Margaret came to clean, she turned on the lights and saw Victor standing in front of the workbench.
She exclaimed, “Sir, how come you are here?”
Victor asked, “When did the lady do this?
“The day you came to the mansion with Ms. Sterling,” Margaret replied.
Victor nodded slightly and walked out of the studio.
His face remained calm, but his heart was filled with endless panic.
He repeatedly admonished himself that Giselle’s words today were all angry words.
Havenport was there, how could she refuse to come back
When awakened by the Imocking sound, Victor realized that he had already returned to the master bedroom and stared at Giselle and their wedding photo for a long time.
“Vic, can I come in?” Sylvia’s voice came from outside the door.
“How did you come?
Sylvia’s face turned pale, her clothes were thin, and she pursed her lips, saying, “Vic, I felt a bit scared staying alone in the hotel.”
“Did I cause you trouble?
“No, it was too late today.”
“I had Margaret tidy up the guest room, let’s leave it for today.”
As the words fell, Victor was about to go out to call Margaret.
Sylvia suddenly grabbed his sleeve, her eyes shimmering.
“Vic, could you accompany me?”
Victor was about to politely refuse, but when he met Sylvia’s slightly blushing eyes, he couldn’t say a word
After a while, he nodded.
