Chapter 14
~Kisses P.O.V~
“Mom, Dad? Who is that?” I say confused, seeing a gorgeous girl with my
drunken father.
“I’m Trisha. How are you?” The lady says and I look at my mother.
“Go take the trash out slut. Aka, Trisha” My mother says shoving me
towards the stairs.
I make my way down the stairs and Trisha follows me outside where I take a seat on the steps.
“Honey, are you okay?” She asks sitting next to me.
“This is the first time you’ve see my father drunk isn’t it?” I look at her
and she nods.
“I figured” I say getting up.
“I’ll be right back, I need to grab my phone” I say running around back and grabbing my phone off my bed to see a bunch of texts.

I decide to call since it’s easier.
“Hey Dan, Kylie’s with you?” I whisper cringing at the screams coming from inside my house.
“Yes, Kisses what happened? What’s wrong? Do you need me to pick you up?” Daniel says as my head starts pounding.
squeeze my eyes shut, hoping to reduce the pain.
“My dad came home drunk, with a girl and my moms throwing a tantrum. No. I’m outside with the girl. I just might not be at school tomorrow” I put my hand on my head.
“Are you okay Kiss? You sound hurt. We will check on you in the morning” Kylie says and Daniel adds “Ohhh, that’s not good”
“Yeah, I just have a pounding headache. No, don’t. I’ll text you in the morning” I say as I hear my mom calling out to me.
“Get in here you sluts” She says and I hang up on Daniel and Kylie, slipping my phone into my back pocket.
“You should go home. Like now” I say to Trisha and I go inside.
“Where’s slut number 1” My mother says as my father is on the floor, almost passed out.

“She went home” I say flinching, expecting to feel additional pain.
“We’ll see her again” My mother sneers out and walks to her room.
“F?ck me” I whisper under my breath, looking at the mess that I now have
to clean.
First, I throw my father on the couch. Not really caring if he has alcohol poisoning or not. My guess is no and even if he did, he would continue to haunt me.
I clean up the broken vase and beer bottles scattered all over the floor. Next is the beer on the walls. I wet a rag and quickly clean all that up.
I look at my phone clock. 12:20 AM it reads.
That took me a good two hours.
I’m on a roll so I might as well clean the kitchen too..
The kitchen is even worse than I imagined. Beer and wine bottles everywhere. Dirty dishes in the sink, waiting to be loaded into the dishwasher. The garbage is overflowing to the point where the lid wont. go down and garbage is scattered around the floor.
Maybe this was a bad idea.

I empty the garbage and place it to the side so I can take it out when I’m finished. The rest of the cleaning took me around another two hours.
2:45 AM
I might as well take a little nap. I quickly go to sleep to be woken up again a few hours later.
6:30 AM
5 minutes ago ‘Daniel: Hey Kiss, we are leaving here in 10 minutes. Text me if you’re up and are going to school‘
I grown, my head pounding worse than I could have imagined. I quickly type back and get changed into a maroon hoodie and some black ripped jeans. I throw my hood up and a pair of sunglasses on to block the sun light.
I make my way to Daniels car and lay down in the back seats, just wanting my headache to go away.
“Take these” Daniel says causing my headache to worsen and to put my hands over my ears.
“Kisses, take this. It will help the headache”
Daniel says and I shush him, taking the pills.

“Thanks” I say cringing at the noise and laying back down.
“Kiss, let’s go” Dan says grabbing my bag and waking me up.
“I’m up. I’m up” I yawn out, my head feeling a little better.
“Thanks Dan, my head feels better already”

say kissing his cheek and soon enough Samantha, the whore who has been trying to get with Daniel for over three years struts up to us.

“Daniel baby, lets go somewhere private” She says practically climbing on
him.
Kylie fake gags causing me to laugh and Daniel shifts my backpack strap on his shoulder, uncomfortable.
“Hey Kyl” Someone calls and I see the guy Kylie has been talking to wave
to her.
Kylie has been talking to Brooks Price and he is one of the guys on the football teams. He likes to stay out of drama and actually cares about people and his studies. He’s quite attractive with blonde hair and ocean blue eyes. He has a little bit of stubble on his chin. He is one of Daniels best friends and has liked Kylie for a long time.
She blushes and hurry’s off to him.

Leaving me with Daniel and Samantha.
Now Samantha King is a whole different story. She’s the third and final cheer captain.
Boys drool over her and fall at her feet.
She’s the second most popular girl after Kylie. Samantha’s biggest belief is that the cheer captain and the quarterback belong together. Hence why she is always all over and constantly trying to get with Daniel. Samantha is a gorgeous brunette with brown eyes. She always has acrylics and would never walk out of her house in anything other than a dress or skirt. Samantha King is that girl. Hence why I’m not a fan of her.
“I’m going to class Dan” I say and his eyes widen at the thought of being left alone with her.
I grab my bag off Daniels shoulder and Daniel shrugs Samantha off, to give me a hug.
“Babe, why are you hugging that ugly whore” Samantha says causing me to stop in my tracks.
“That ‘ugly whore‘ has a name. Maybe if you used peoples real names and not names that are completely false accusations, people would actually respect you” I fake smile at her.
A chorus of ‘oohs‘ are heard and Daniel stands there, shocked.

“Come on babe, let’s get to class” I say grabbing Daniels hand and dragging him away from Samantha.
“What?” Samantha screeches shocked and pissed causing me to smile.
“Oh thank God Kisses, how can I repay you? And that was impressive. Way to deliver a message in a nice way” Daniel says high fiving me.
“I’ve had some practice” I shrug fixing my backpack strap.
“Kiss, Dan. Everyones talking about you, what happened?” Kylie rushes up to us with Brooks behind her.
“Long story short Samantha called me an ugly whore and I told her I have a name and that if she called people by their real names people would have respect for her” I explain and Kylie’s eyes widen and Brooks mouth. drops.
“I like you. Damn, you’ve got fire. No ones ever stood up to Samantha like that” Brooks says giving me a fist bump and I laugh.
“I don’t even know what to say” Kylie says still shocked.
“Say nothing. I have to go to class now guys. See you after I say running up the stairs so I can make it to class on time.

School went by extremely slow and soon it was time to go to the Greens before the game.
“Kisses honey, how are you? How has school been?” Tara says when I walk in hugging me.
“I actually wanted to talk to you later. If that’s okay” I smile at her and she nods.
“Hi my favorite twins” Tara hugs Daniel and Kylie and Daniel grabs a cookie off a plate.
I swear whenever I’m here Tara always makes cookies.
I love your house Tara. It still brings me back to being a kid. And that. cookie smell” I say and she laughs.
“Yeah, that’s for sure. My kids eat them up” She says looking at Daniel who now has chocolate all over his face.
“Go clean up kids. The game is soon” Jim says walking into the kitchen
and we nod.
“I need to style you” Kylie says dragging me into her room causing me to mouth ‘help‘ to Daniel. He just laughs and walks into his room.

“You should try out for winter cheer” Kylie says and I immediately shake my head.
“Kylie Green, have you seen me? I am no cheerleader. Plus my bruises would show” I say laughing at her.
“Ugh, fine. You’re no fun. Try this on” Kylie says turning around and I make a run for it.
“Daniel, open up. I got away. Please” I say knocking on his door, hearing Kylie’s footsteps get closer.
The door quickly opens and Daniel laughs at my expression.
Standing in front of me is a shirtless Daniel who is in some basketball shorts and has a couple beads of sweat on his forehead.
“What are ya doing?” I stutter out and he looks at me confused.
“This is my room” Daniel says challenging me.
“No shit, I mean, why are you sweating?” I say sitting on his bed, ignoring
the knocks on the door.
“I always do 50 push–ups and 20 burpees before my game as my own little warm up and good luck charm. Even though, tonight you’re going to help
us win” Daniel winks at me and I blush.

“You’re welcome to stay” Daniel says, facing away from me and proceeding with his push–ups.
I watch as his muscles bulge and flex at each time he goes in the downwards position.
“I better go” I say walking out of the door.
“There you are” Kylie says applying mascara.
She is dressed in her black and gold cheer uniform. Her makeup is done perfectly and her hair is curled and in a high ponytail. Her bow matches the uniform and on one tail, says ‘Green‘ and on the opposite tail, says ‘Captain‘.
“Try this on and then I’ll curl your hair and you can freshen up your makeup. Was Daniel doing his push–ups?” Kylie asks and I nod changing‘ into the clothes quickly.
“Okay good, we are right on time. I LOVE IT” Kylie says and then screams the last part.
She dressed me in a pair of leather pants and a black shirt with studs on the sleeves. I am wearing a gold feather necklace and some bracelets and earrings to match. She paired it with some black studded stilettos as well.
“Kylie, it’s gorgeous but not me. I’ll break my ankle in these things” I say

“Let’s just hurry up and then we can choose another outfit.
Kylie curls my hair to perfection and I do my normal makeup but with a little gold glitter on my eyelids.
I stand up and look at Kylie and she shrieks again.
“I need a picture” She says and she takes a couple. One came out really cute and it’s of me laughing. She sends it to me and then a knock is heard
at the door.
I quickly check my phone and soon look up to a ‘woah, you look fucking hot‘
