Yeshua dragged me to a lavish banquet hall.
And as we entered, I saw it–crowds of people, all gathered for a wedding.
The guests filling the venue were all elites–the most influential families in the city.
And not far from me stood Heidi, glaring at me with fury written all over her face.
Across the aisle, Yeshua’s parents were all smiles, warmly greeting relatives and friends as if nothing was wrong. The moment they saw me, Uncle Dimitri and Aunt Sylvia immediately called out, “Julianna, you’re here!“>
“Hurry, the makeup artist is already waiting! We’ll make you the most beautiful bride today!“}
I stared at them, my face tight with anger. “When did I ever say I was going to marry Yeshua?“} *Julianna, haven’t you always wanted to marry our Yeshua?” Aunt Sylvia asked with a smile.
“We’re holding your wedding today–what more could you possibly want?“>
I chuckled coldly.
“Have the two of you forgotten?” I said sharply. “Yesterday, Yeshua made it very clear to me–he said the woman he wanted to marry was Heidi, not me.“&
Their smiles froze for a second.
Then Uncle Dimitri quickly stepped in, trying to smooth things over. “Julianna, Yeshua knows he was wrong. That’s why he planned this surprise wedding—to make it up to you!”
I let out a sharp laugh.
A surprise?
This wasn’t a surprise–it was coercion.
A real wedding would’ve involved mutual discussion and consent. Not dragging me here without warning and trying to force me into marriage. And yet, they were treating this like it was normal.
“Enough. Julianna, go get your makeup done now,” Yeshua ordered coldly as he walked up to me.
I stared him down. “When did I ever say I wanted to marry you?“>
My voice was like ice.
His expression faltered for a moment, but then he narrowed his eyes and said, “Julianna, I’m giving you a chance. Stop causing a scene. If you keep this up, I will get angry.”[
I couldn’t help but laugh in disbelief.”
“Sorry, Yeshua. I never planned to marry you.”
“And I never will. This so–called wedding? It’s over.“}
I turned and prepared to leave.
But just as I took a step, members of the Grant family quickly blocked my path.
Uncle Dimitri and Aunt Sylvia clung to my arms, refusing to let go.”
“Juliarina, didn’t you say you’d only ever marry our Yeshua?“}}
“That’s right! He planned this whole thing just to surprise you–he’s worked so hard!”
“Once you marry into our family, we’ll treat you exceptionally well, you’ll see!”
They spoke over each other, trying to persuade me like I was some stubborn child.
Meanwhile, Yeshua stood nearby, his face still cold, but I noticed his gaze shifting again and again–toward Heidi
On the other hand, Heidi Jooked at me, her face full of pitiful innocence, as if she were the true victim here.
I looked around at all of them and let out a breathless laugh.
“Sorry to disappoint you all,” I said, my voice was clear and firm. “But I’m already married. I registered my marriage with someone else.”
As the words left my mouth, I turned to leave again.
But before Lcould take another step, Yeshua grabbed my wrist, yanking me back.
His voice dropped to a furious growl. “What did you just say?”
His eyes locked onto mine, and I could see the burning rage beneath the surface.
I met his gaze and smiled. “I said–I’m already married, Yeshua.”
His expression darkened like a thundercloud.
“Julianna, do you even know what you’re saying?” he snapped, his voice low and dangerous.
