My husband, Connor Johnston, insisted that his junior intern handle our son’s surgery. He let her perform Levi Johnston’s circumcision as practice.

Chapter 1
I was at a loss. I had heard it was a simple procedure–why was he bleeding so badly?
No one at the hospital paid attention to me and instead placed us in a smelly, isolated ward.

Chapter 1
I ignored the sharp pain in my sprained wrist, bit my tongue, and forced myself to stay calm, speaking with a shaky voice.
“If they aren’t here, is there another doctor? My son’s condition is serious. Please help him.”
The nurse rolled her eyes and scoffed.
“Dr. Johnston said Dr. Ferguson could do the surgery. You don’t understand.
Besides, it’s after work hours. This hospital isn’t yours. You can’t just demand whoever you want.”
I clenched my fists so hard my nails dug into my palms. Even a young nurse knew Connor and his junior were a perfect match, while I, his legal wife, seemed like the one at fault.
Immediately, I smashed a water cup. Glass flew everywhere. Holding a sharp piece to my throat, I threatened her.
“This is medical malpractice! And I’m Connor’s wife!
“My son’s bleeding isn’t normal–his manhood was cut off! Call Connor now!”
I pressed the glass so hard that it almost pierced my throat, blood flowing each time I spoke.
The nurse turned pale and reluctantly called Connor.
As soon as he answered, I grabbed the phone and spoke frantically.
“Connor, please come back. Levi’s manhood is gone.
“It takes less than six hours to sew a severed limb. If you don’t come back to save him, his life will be ruined!”
